Iv’e been watching you guys for about 10 years now and normally never comment, but I love that a 6 minute Sunday video of absolute drivel (I mean this in the best way) shows how far you’ve come with your past anxiety about producing internet worthy content. Absolutely love a Sunday video from you guys, no matter how short and lacking in silky montages - it’s like a weekly check in with old friends ❤
I never usually comment but having followed you guys since London & when Grayson was born, I always look forward to your uploads wether it’s a silky montage or a little ramble. Such a lovely, down to earth & creative family x
watching since 2013 or so. laughing, crying, daydreaming. you guys mean so much to me and have always kept me inspired. love you so much. if you make a video, no matter what, i'm tuning in to watch.
Don’t think I’ll ever not watch the vlogs! I wrote a question into you and Hannah 8 years ago as I was struggling with presenting my dissertation and felt so nervous, you said something along the lines of pretending I was confident and just faking it! Honestly it worked a treat 😅 I’m self employed now and present workshops/ classes and I still come back to that knowing when I’m noticing any wobbles/ self doubt!
lmao, pointing out things that are 'wrong' with people isn't the helpful favour you think it is. I'm sure there's a lot of psychology videos out there that could provide some insight about those scenarios.
Squirming creates comedic creativity; you're hilarious. I'm almost 60 and a girl, and I totally agree with you; "like" peppered throughout every sentence sounds ... dare I say, immature, unless it is something truly being compared. Otherwise it's "Valley Girl" (80s). I understand it's just another way to speak, and there are other words as in "totally" and other lingo around that is just part of the culture; it's a habit too. Still, sounds non-serious; it's hard to turn off when trying to be professional, too. My opinion.
This title was specifically for me and my attempts to continue YouTubing after 10 years and only 24k subscribers. Btw idk if you’re into nyc vlogs but if so, you might like mine. Swing by, take a peek and stick around if you like. I’d be sooo grateful. 🙏
It's really easy. You lacked consistency. Your channel has is great, but you stopped and started. You need to realise that the people that watch you work 9-5 every day
I agree! I used to love watching her make breakfast for Grayson and doing her mom thing around town. I love all the videos but miss the day to day vlogging doing normal things
Thanks for the video Stef! I honestly love the mix of rambling videos, vlog style, and silky montage masterpieces. Its just not realistic to create beautifully edited movies every week. Anyone would get burned out. Just do whatever makes you happy and passionate about and the rest will follow. And if we ever get the hankering for a silky montage we can always watch an old video. Your Iceland vlog is still one of my favorite videos on youtube.
Like many others commenting; I’ve been watching you guys for over 10 years now and I still love everything you put out here on YT for us, and am always still waiting for a snippet in the vlog when I hear you call Hannah “Kony” like a true Michalak hipster. It’s been a joy to watch you guys navigate life in the “influencer” sphere and the highs and lows that come with that, but more than anything your growth as people and as a family. Genuinely feels like watching friends sometimes (so lame, I’ve given myself the ick), but truly thanks for all the videos and we’ll always be here for more - silky montages or not!
I’m going to be honest, I fell out of love with the Michalaks a few years ago. Back story, I found Hannah’s blog when she was pregnant with Grayson and I was also pregnant and really enjoy her posts then subsequent youtube videos.. then me and my partner used to watch the sunday videos with the silky montage’s and then stopped watching (sorry). Well we have picked back up, Stef’s hilarious, Hannah is a complete natural… there is no facade with these guys, a rarity with “influencer’s” these days… thanks for providing real, enjoyable content x
Oh the internal monologue… yes it definitely needs to be turned off. I’ve been creating on this platform for 3 years and I love creating but the growth is not there but I’m definitely not giving up and will continue to push forward. Thank you for your encouragement 🙌🏽
Stef, you’re not a dickhead. Love your content, always have and always will! Don’t second guess a thing, you guys are lovely and down to earth ♥️ love to you all! Xxx
The truth is that I don't remember how many years I have been following you and watching your amazing videos, but long before Gray was born. I have always enjoyed your videos from the longest to the shortest, and they are like drinking hot chocolate on a winter night. Someone said in a comment that watching your videos is like catching up with friends, and I couldn't agree more. :)
Is there any reason in particular you think the channel has started growing again? A new directions from the new agency? Generally Interested as a marketer 🙂
I agree, people who watch tel a vision especially from Hollywood say " like " all the time every 3 words, so annoying, it is similar to people who lost their language, and another word used a lot in phrases is "you know" cant stand it either and as you very well know cutie pie Stef, go say sorry to your lovely wife, a lot , grovel and all that to the most beautiful woman i have ever seen !
I’ve watched since Grayson was a baby and I started studying in Bath this year! Part of the reason I ever considered Bath as a city to live in was because of how beautiful it looks in the silky montages in your vlogs, so thank you for inadvertently helping me with a big(ish) life decision 🩷
Im öne of your old subscribers! You guys inspired me me to do weekly vlog (I don’t do it anymore now) But yeah there’s moment when my views were so low… but I kept going and kept vlogging. I just want to say Thanks for showing up today stef ❤ Looking forward to your family vlog again next week, I’m not fuss about silky montages and cinematic stuff (I know you love making them ☺️) But I throughly enjoy your daily vlog with Hannah, kids and the dog 😉
I’m here since the early days of the London flat, guess I’m a silent watcher here. I experienced that in the last years since 2019, the internet (I mean social media) became so over the top professional with pictures, drone shots and such high end stuff that I feel like a looser. Do I wanna travel all the time? Definitely. Do I wanna have these kind of drone shots and perfect pictures of me standing on top of a mountain every weekend? Of course! Do I feel like life is happening without me?Yep..unfortunately. But the truth is, that I don’t have the friends who want to travel with me, go hiking and climbing and maybe trying to take a nice picture (even if I wouldn’t post it cause I’m also really bad at editing). I have a daily fomo. But what I really like is your honest opinion on everything. You don’t even try to cover up something. What happens happens and you guys are just honest about it, even if it’s a ripped top of the VW Van. I really enjoy the short videos, where you just come as you are, say what you gotta say and be a normal human. (I know your editing and filming skills are above and beyond) but I also enjoy just a simple 10 minutes video. Can we go back to the more simple things and concentrate more on connecting and conversation again, than to show off and make everyone feel like we’re not enough? Love you guys, mean it. ❤
