They changed the name because originally they wanted to pursue other athletic events, but decided to focus on the football. It has the same business incorporation number as it did with the original name, it has the same registration with the SFA. It's the same company. Sorry.

Not quite true Ify and I suspect you know it. The bank asked for their overdraft back, Fergus paid it and the Celtic fans paid him back. No administration, no liquidation, no players leaving, no sale of assets, no tax avoidance, no non payment of debt, no death, no new club starting at the bottom. Hopefully the Rangers problem will highlight the need for change in scottish football and hopefully people will see that smaller teams should join together to become more financially viable and more attractive with better stadiums and teams ie Falkirk,Stenhousemuir,East stirling,there are many other clubs that could do this you know the ones or do we just wanna remain a country where they play shit football and nothing will ever change?

it may have something to do with west coast economics. half of the population of scotland lives in greater glasgow/strathclyde. mind you newco have the 2nd largest stadium in D3.
@celtno1 not sure about every season mate, but we're definitely always near the bottom and rangers and hearts are right up there at the top. hopefully they'll both be out the spl by july.
