In 2010, SA had a per capita income of 10k dollars, with 50% living below poverty level. It spent 1.5 billion on stadium renovations, all with luxury boxes, now Basicly empty. Estimated net cost of hosting was 8.4 billion. That is the loss. This video did not age well.

My greatest wish is that there will soon be no need for an African Outreach program, or, for that matter a U.N. Program to stop violence against women around the world.
