I know how much Claire impacted most of you and I wouldn't be sharing these videos here unless it was super important - Claire's Legacy, Claire's Place Foundation, is at risk of going under due to COVID. We are about as grass roots as you can get, a very small business, but the impact in her Cystic Fibrosis community is incredible. Please consider joining us as a monthly donor in any amount so we can keep our doors open to the people who need our support. I know she would not have gone down without a fight! You may remember in her last upload before the transplant, she said she wanted to live not for herself but so that she could continue helping others (which makes me cry like a baby). It is with this in mind that we are trying to keep her foundation going.
This organization gave her life so much meaning and she was so proud of it, always wanting to give back and make an impact. I hope she is proud of the life she lived, I miss her and think about her every second of every day and the way I show my love for her is through the work we do here at Claire's Place.

Claire was part of my inspiration to become a nurse actually because she spoke a lot about treating patients as human beings who still can live normal lives and not just be defined by being sick and I wanted to become that person for my patients and I have. I always make sure that my time with each one is memorable and find ways to incorporate normal life into their hospital stay as much as possible. I want to let her family know that every year for my birthday on Facebook I always choose Claire’s charity as my fundraiser. She is still making impacts on people - keep up the good work!

What you witnessed and endured must be so Heart breaking after such tragedy you are helping and supporting others in similar circumstances this really is such important work and massive thanks to everyone involved. As i recall Claire saying regularly on her videos 'Do what you can with what you've got' A message for us to all to live by and help keep friends in need from despair and isolation. Best wishes to everyone especially Claire's family and friends.
