To me a game's soundtrack is one of the most important factors into judging whether it's gonna be a good or bad game and your contribution to Genshin has been nothing short of a masterpiece. Even if people quit playing that game, I'm sure they will never stop listening to it's soundtrack. You're a musical genius who really appreciates all the different instruments you work with, that only comes with a great knowledge and experience of working with different musicians. Definitely. I don't play genshin as much anymore, but I definitely still run back to the soundtrack, I've listened to it many times and it still holds up.
Yea, Genshin's soundtrack isn't just a soundtrack, it's like an entire extra layer above the general game experience. It's spectacular in so many ways.

It was through anime music and video game soundtracks that I began to love music, however after hearing your piece "Polumnia Omnia", a fire has lit within me. I have discovered something worth living for. Never have I felt before that life is so vast and your music taught me that. Even the simplest things in life feel like the most grandiose thing in your music. While I still have a lot to learn, I decided that I will chase down this path and face every obstacle, all because your music has opened up a whole new world for me. I don’t know if Yu-Peng Chen himself will ever read this comment, but if he does… this is for you: Thank you. Thank you so much. Your music in Genshin moved me in ways I cannot properly articulate. There’s so much I want to say but I don’t want to word-dump too much. I used to hate Tartaglia. He was one of my least favourite characters. Until one day, I happened to fully listen to his battle themes - “Never-Ending Performance” and “Wrath of Monoceros Caeli”. After listening to them properly, I began to fall in love. I began to look deeper into Tartaglia as a character and look past the surface level - that ended up turning into something I wouldn’t change for the world. I LOVE Tartaglia so much to the point where he is my favourite character now. I’m only two constellations away from having him C6. This would not have happened had it not been for your wonderful music. I cannot count the times I’ve walked around Teyvat just simply listening to the music in the background. Genshin means so much to me, it’s such a comfort game and your music is a massive factor in that. I cannot thank you enough. I’m so excited to listen to more of your music and any other projects you work on. You are a phenomenal musician and I sincerely hope all of your music projects become heard all around the world.
