Maharaj ji is a very charismatic leader in iskcon. He charged up his disciples by his nectar like lectures,enthusiasm,strictness. Maharaj ji is very much like prabhupada, he is strictly follow the rules of prabhupada and makes his disciples to follow. Maharaj ji is a very serious disciple of prabhupada, spreading his message. I am fortunate that I get the mercy of maharaj ji. Hare krishna Dandavat pranam maharaj ji. Bhakti vikas swami ki jaya.

What I can understand is that it's a great responsibility to be a disciple of a great Ācārya like Srila Prabhupada. The present scenario of Vaisnava world is full of confusions. Who is bona fide and who is not- it's not clear to me. Sometimes I think if I were there during the time of Srila Prabhupada and could be His disciple. Then I think that well not everyone is qualified to be a disciple of Srila Prabhupada. It comes with heavy responsibility.

If it's not clear who is bonafide and who isn't, then you need to be more serious in reading Srila Prabhupada's books. Anyone who have read Srila Prabhupada's books scrutinizingly will never face a problem differentiating the bonafide from the unbonafide. It becomes crystal clear who is bonafide.

(Managed by Disciples) You need to read Srila Prabhupada's books carefully to recognize spiritual advancement. Especially 'Nectar Of Devotion'. Regarding qualification for diksha, there is a certain level one has to come to before taking diksa, 16 rounds, 4 regulative principles, submissive to authority etc. But even so, in Kali-yuga, no one is really qualified. We depend on the mercy of Lord Caitanya.

Gr8 to understand the iskon problems. I always thought iskon is too much focus on creating big temples with huge realstate just like churches that will give rise to administration needs taking away focus from practicing the bhakti. It will entangle itself into moh maya. To manage so much property and its functions you will need Vatican city style Iskon State. It is impractical to expect the whole world to become full time Krishna devotee without having a profession. Krishna devotee too needs to acquire skills of physics, chemistry, math, medicine etc. and do all type of research and development activities as per krisna updesh. Krishna devotee has to become rishi, muni who used to do so many inventions and discoveries.

I"ll be very clear & Short: Real mature/ advanced / senior means to at least come to the beginning of awakening Prema for Krsna which is understood by the symptoms explained by Srila Prabhupada and our previous acaryas found specially in the Chaitanya Caritamrita. So please whoever you think you are, dive more and deeper into the teachings of Chaitanya Mahaprabhu through His teachings via the chaitanya Caritamrta and the previous acaryas writings to get to the real ultimate essence which is to come to the completed stage of Prema bhakti. As we mature into Prema more and more our sharing, our potency, our taste become greater so the answer to all that Maharaj has mentioned is focus on getting into your personal Prema relationship with Radha Krsna and all their multitude of energies. In short do what you need to do to move your ass to more real transcendental taste, Rasa, Prema = highest and best servant, Hare Krsna. All glories to Srila Prabhupada and Gauraaaa bhakta vrindaaaaa :)

A quote from a letter Prabhupada wrote in October '74: 'The classes and program must continue. That is the life of the temple. Everyone must attend morning and evening program, otherwise it will be a dead temple.'

If in 1977 Prabhupad's disciples thought of themselves as ALL junior devotees needing higher Vaishnava association all that unfortunate history would have been different. No real change today with the GBC banning the books of their Guru's "senior devotees".

KC is very difficult to practice outside temples and ISKCON communities, especially in the West. Even senior devotees are suffering from the lack of opportunity to be fully part of the varnasram system desired by HDG Srila Prabhupada. In some countries, there are missing links between some generations of devotees and newcomers cannot properly learn from the mistakes of the past. That's sad. Dandavat pranams

What is difference between Senior and Pure Devotee? These definitions make new devotees and non initiated devotees feel inferior. From this I realised you have to become initiated otherwise it’s best not to associate with devotees.

Hare Krsna, I am not at all in a position to tell you anything and neither help you in anyway, but I will repeat something that I read from Prabhupada and pray his mercy falls on you, also there are many who gets confused with the term of devotee and service and spiritual master, atleast I was so here is something that helped me by the causeless mercy of Vaishnavas and hope it helps you before you turn cold or melt. Hare Krsna “It is not possible to know the transcendental nature of the Divinity by dint of one's imperfect sense perception, but the Divinity reveals Himself to a pure devotee in proportion to the transcendental service rendered unto Him. A pure devotee does not think in terms of his personal gain or loss because he is fully surrendered to the Lord. He is concerned only with the service of the Lord and always engages in that service, and for this reason his heart is the Lord's home. The Lord being absolute, there is no difference between Him and His service. A pure devotee's heart is always filled with ideas about executing the Lord's service, which is bestowed upon the pure devotee through the transparent medium of the spiritual master.” From purports of HDG Srila Prabhupada “But in any situation you can chant atleast 16 rounds, follow the principles and read my books” From almost all of the letters by HDG to similar doubts you have raised!
