I want to thank you. watching your videos inspired my son and I. today for his 9th birthday, we bought our first detector. tried it in the yard. our house was built in 1880. we found an old German confirmation pendant and the radiator emblem from a 1927 Durant touring car.

I'm glad that you are such a prolific videographer because there aren't many guys posting videos these days. At least the guys that I've subscribed to. The humidity is so high here the last three days you can't tolerate going outdoors. Fresh water sponges, who da thunk! Never saw one and now I have, thanks Mr. Chigg Cousteau.

Nice treasures. Biggest treasure is being out in the woods on a beautiful day on a beautiful stream, bonus is finding a few things. Thanks for the excellent videos and the extra bonus of telling about the sponges, turtles etc.

I just go into Clean Lakes and where wealthy go swiming and Boating. First go Skin Diving in 20-30 ft( that's too deep for Other Hunters) and find the best stuff. Next Use a Kyack and a Magnet to Hunt the Bottoms, aways from others and ususlly Were they go Fishing and Sking.. I found most of my Best Jewelery in those places,, Cell Phones, RayBan and other Designer Sun Glasses I would get $5-$10 for at Fares( I would have from 30-50 pairs of them at the FARES on the table.. Even Boat Anchors- 15-20 Danforths and Mud Anchors..I Gave Fishing Rods and Lures Away to the kids...

Hey Beau, That camp was most likely built by local kids. It didn't look like a homeless person camp. Also, the wagon wheel might be off of a steel wheeled tractor. It looked like it was about the size of a front wheel.

I'd say 50% of good Womens Rings/Engagement and Weeding Bands were Thrown away.. From Break ups to Divorces , etc.. I found so many , I retired 10 yrs earlier and did nothing but Hunt for them..Under Bridges in towns is popular and do it on Monday & Tuesdays.. After wknds..

Hi there Beau, Very Cool hunt. Cold I should say, hu? The "Little Elf" is finally able to comment again, (long story), but here I is. ; ) I'd say 1960s on the Pepsi bottle and knife. Thought that was funny when you said , "Just because it's deep, doesn't mean it's old". I was thinking that I've known quite a few old people that were not deep, thinkers that is and have met a few young people that were deep thinkers. So take that for what it's worth. Lol I have been watching all of your vids, along with my husband. You inspired him to get a detector he could use in the water. We are waiting for cooler weather, cause it has been over 100 degrees ~

Good to be here! Hay, you remember the story I told you about "Little Elf", right? When I was growing up, the Native Americans around me always called me "little Spirit", emphasis on Spirit, and everyone in my family called me "Little Elf", simply because I was super tiny, like I could dart under a kitchen chair very easily, and fast, so my Uncle Jess started calling me a little Elf. It's not really mystical, just funny, as you mentioned a long time ago in a comment. Just thought I'd explain, for you or anyone interested. The MerAngel handle came about because when my hubby and I got married, it was on the edge of the ocean in Trinidad, CA and it kinda looked like I had a halo around my face, so several people said I looked like an Angel, a MerAngel. So, there it is there. Oh yeah, Love, Love, Love your videos. I have 3 words to explain your vids... Educational, Entertaining and EnJoyable! Oh, I forgot "Addictive", in a good way, like I'm addicted to Smiles. ;-)
