I love how the houses gradually get bigger and bigger, even though Joel said he'd make them small

the warped plank is honestly just so pleasing to look at. like i literally want to make a whole town or village based off that colour.

I'm loving the Spruce and Dark oak builds, than again those are my main two for building. We're in an agreement with how "Red" sand/stone should be "Orange" sand/stone.

Fantastic builds! I especially love the dark oak house. It’s an excellent example of Dutch colonial style. My favorite out of all these houses, in a rough descending order are: spruce, dark oak, jungle, oak, and warped.

I feel like crimson planks look really good as roof tiles and as fantastical mansion library floors as long as you mix them with spruce (the floors that is, not the tiles)

This is awesome, I thought of doing this before, but I think I'll try to do it again! And I know personally I find Crimson wood and Blackstone to be a nice colour scheme, just throwing a small color scheme idea here!

You can definitely tell how much more comfortable Joel gets with the building throughout the video. The first build in comparison to the last? Complete opposites. Different sizes. Etc.

When I started out playing Minecraft my favourite plank was acacia. NOW my favourite is warped planks. They look so cool! :)

After hearing Joel try and do Scott's accent I want to hear him try an American one. As an American myself, I would like to hear what y'all british people think we sound like 😂😂

Joel here’s a tip for using acacia planks. Make a very traditional chinese/Japanese style building as it works very well with dark prismarine

1. A nice, small cottage. The kind of thing you'd imagine in the middle of the woods. 2. Honestly, I get more of a Nordic/Scandinavian feel from this one. 3. You sell yourself short on your modern building. That looks really nice. 4. Interesting pallet. Feels a little monochromatic but the varying textures really make up for that. 5. I get a safari lodge feel from this one. 6. Definitely a very "middle of the city" medieval feel to this one. I could see the bottom floor being like a specialty shop or something, and then the upper floor being the shopkeeper's loft. 7. A very infernal looking apartment building. 8. I know it would be against the rules for this build but I honestly would have used dark oak logs rather than stripped warped stems for the uprights. I feel like warped wood looks better when used as either an accent color in contrast to the warmer, earthy tones of regular woods, or as a main color but with contrasting accents. Within the rules, maybe use the warped stems without stripping them?

These look real nice! These could Also be Great Starter Houses.
