I charged for 10 hours but we probably only sawed for 8 hours. The other two hours was for set up and break down and blade changes and stuff like that. The mill was sawing for probably only 30-40 min of those hours as we had to load logs and unload lumber because I only had my help one off bearer.
We estimated that Lowe’s sold 2x4x16 and 2x6x16 for about $1.30 a board foot and it cost the customer about $0.30 a board foot for us to saw it.
