A morning walk around Kamigamo Shrine, Kyoto (4K) 

Kamigamo Shrine in Northern Kyoto is one of Japan's oldest Shinto Shrines (founded in 678). Together with the nearby Shimogamo Shrine the two Kamo Shrines were established along the river entering the city from the Northeast , thereby preventing evil and misfortune gaining access to the old capital. Both Kamo Shrines are part of the UNESCO World Heritage.
