I have this WIICES Change Machine inverter but after using with a 100W fan, it has not been working well again. The overload light keeps blinking on and off and its not working again. What can i do please?
My 1 year old 3000w pure sine inverter would not work with more then 8w. And after trying everything I got a new inverter and had similar problems. After making sure the batteries was not to blame I changed both the short extension that had been connected now for 2 years to the inverter. And then it worked perfectly fine, something was wrong with both of the extension cords...
It's probably the wrong wire gauge for the current being drawn. If it's 3000w on 12v battery thats 250 amps, you need a very fat gauge for that kind of current.
I have a 1500W inverter (Excelvan brand) Mine has output but if I plug in anything above that uses 600 watts it shuts itself down and the fault like comes on. No blown fuses or anything, If I cycle it off/on its good to go, until I try to plug something in that uses a lot of watts (i.e. like a small a 600 watt heater) Anyone have any idea what is going on? I used to be able to run things like a table saw or a small AC unit off of this thing before!
Can I step up to 1 size bigger fuse ? It’s a 3,000W 48v inverter it worked for a hour then shut off & will not work and the distributor does not answer my questions !
I have a Krieger 2000W PSW inverter for a solar power back up with 300W of panels and 2 100AH Redodo batteries. I have never used it to power ANYTHING and hardly ever turn it on because we have had no power outage emergencies. I only occasionally turn it on to charge power tool flashlight and some 18650 batteries. The inverter is only 13 months old and won't turn on. It blinked once and died smh. I will inquire about a fuse and or warranty from Krieger but man, this is terrible reliability for a Krieger brand. I will keep your company in mind in case I have to switch.
@@inductor1.77 - Yeah, I had to pay retail price for the shipping which was around $55 but they at least sent me a new one back and it's been working fine for all these months so far.
I have a motomaster 3000 watt inverter that has power but not power to plugs. I opened it up and it has about 20 25 amp blade fuses but I can't pull them out. They seem to be soldered in. Is this normal? How can I check them?
For soldered on fuses you will need a soldering iron and a steel braided wick or some other mechanism to remove the solder and replace the fuse. When I have had to do this I solder on a fuse holder so my fuses can just be removed by hand in the future.
