This really brings out the reality of how a parents actions to their child could be passed on. For example my mom yells at me and my little brother, sometimes smacks us(Just how Hispanic parents are), and because of that I have now had the habit of yelling and smacking my brother whenever he annoys me and I get in trouble for it.

Ah I have similar problem most of the time my little cousins or niece start being a little rough with me like they start hitting and punching me ,mostly I ignore that but when it’s being to be annoying and a little bit hurts me I kind of snap and shout or accidentally become rough with them and end up with me feeling guilty for it even if they aren’t really hurt by it

I don't think I have heard of this but this is very common among parents who had an abusive childhood then they would spread it to their kids and then it goes on and if one person breaks the chain it could change the entire family dynamic for the future generations which is a good thing!

That Kai boy was able to have a good and happy life by leaving his father and forgetting his bad and traumatic past, and moving in to his boyfriend later husband, he was gay btw, and he was able regain himself from his new environment after moving in to his boyfriend later husband. I think the dad(Mathew) died on an illness after his son left, when he looked at him in purgatory on earth, he sees his son has a happy life, the father(Mathew) was proud that he was able to have a happy life and he didn’t, he cried and now he misses his old self, a nice kid that grew up in a bad home, with a bad father, he was able to redeem himself for that and was able to go to heaven, sooner or later.
