The little "sana-sa" at the beginning is one of those moments where you make some random inside joke around your close friends that only they'll understand, but other people overhearing it look at you like you're alien that just forgot to blend in properly.
I'm sure she likes having some privacy and doesn't want to go to bed with us. We're not children, there's plenty of 5-10 true crime vids if you don't care about the true full story with details
Bailey repeating the word shmegma over and over is the highlight of my day. Is it childish? Yes. Am I childish? Also yes. I love you bailey for always making me laugh.
You’ll never see this, but I listened to you during my entire pregnancy with My son in 2020. You calmed me, entertained me, made me laugh in my darkest moments. I just found out I’m pregnant again, currently 5 weeks. I took a break from RU-vid due to the wild twos busting me😂 it sounds weird, but you ground me ! I have a special connection with your videos & my pregnancy’s. This is sadly my last baby, so I’m going to soak these times in❤️
Same !!!! Im only third baby and boy listening to Bailey's videos just makes everything more calming and the pregnancy easier it's definitely my comfort vibe 😅. My kids recognise her voice 😂😂
I love thé humour throughout. I’m a Doc and I’m long serving military so I’ve got a really black sense of humour which not many civvies understand. I often get weird looks for my “inappropriate humour” when I’m out & about 🙄🤦♀🤷♀ Listening to Bailey is like being around my colleagues who all share the same black humour! It’s great. I only discovered her channel a few months ago, so I’m playing catch-up with the stories. Btw Bailey love the way you do your makeup. Mine just gets slapped on in same way I slap my camo-paint on. Hoping to try to surprise my hubby by attempting to copy some for the next long-frock bash! 👍
about 7 minutes in I realized I've been watching Bailey for like 4-5 years (I think?? its been so long) and I just love how I can sit and listen and giggle along with Bailey. she seriously feels like a friend id always want to have in real life
She knew what she was doing🤣 I legit paused for a sec like, did I hear that right lol I understand why she doesn’t do it anymore but with older cases like this I think it can get a pass..
I had a teacher like this for history. She was amazing, kind and fun. We used to bring snacks and meet up in different fun places because there were only 6 of us in the class. It was amazing❤
I mean, that doesn’t necessarily mean she was dumb, believe it or not. Holmes was a very successful con man. Sometimes even otherwise intelligent people stand no chance against someone like that.
I don't get it-bailey says they met in Texas, but then she comes to Chicago and they meet at a job agency where Herman offers her a job....so which is it, Texas or Chicago!!?
I’ve read somewhere that the reason the contractors didn’t know about what some of the rooms on the second floor was, was because Holmes gave them different “maps” of what to build and also why he changed contractors so often. So no one would know how the finished house would look like from the inside. Smart, I gotta say that!
I have been so obsessed with hh holmes and jack the ripper psychology. I wanted to see your take on hh. Holmes and love that you brought up the comnection with the two of them. I believe he is both myself
19:15 Bailey: “But instead she pulls out what seems to be….” Me: “It’s gonna be a freaking heart isn’t it?” Bailey: “A dead baby.” Me: 😮 I have no words.
that wasbt odd to me. I thought it was probs that. They use them to teach human fetal development branch - embryology. Why he took it home is beyond me because you can literally ask to stay there and keep dissecting it however long you want. Rules were way lax back then so even if he was having fn, carrying it home made zero sense. But this isnt a person operating on logic
@@wrongturnVfor That is exactly what was odd for me. Like why take it home? He could have just stayed as long as he wanted and then went home but like you said this isn’t a person operating on logic. Like I wouldn’t have minded if he took a heart home because yk hearts and psychopaths makes sense but idk why but just taking a baby home to dissect and “learn” is just absolutely weird.
Bailey should really do the Elizabeth Smart story! it was horrible what happened to her, but she lived and her bravery is so inspiring. Bailey would tell it so well! In Bailey We Trust!!
So glad she covered the Jack the Ripper thing. I’ve read a lot about both cases, and I am 100% convinced. The handwriting comparison is the final nail in the coffin for me.
Devil in the white city is a fantastic book about this! SO much detail about the era at the time and how the world fair played into him going unnoticed!
@@mhulley1 YES! Lol it's honestly like 2 separate stories being told. Skip the architect stuff and just read the chapters from H.H. Holmes perspective and it's a really quick read but it IS definitely worth it! 🤍
Any time Bailey tells the backstory and a friend/family member mysteriously dies with no witnesses, but its counted as an accident, I can't help but think its their 1st victim (just no evidence and people tend to not blame a kid)
A few years ago, HH Holmes grandson did a special on History channel trying to prove that his grandfather was Jack the Ripper. Also, the location of his former home is now a post office.
Girl! We are HERE, SO HERE for any length of video you want to provide. My only preference is that all parts be available at the same time 😂 waiting extra weeks to get each installment is torture. Film over two days. Do multiple looks, have a sleep over. Have fun with it! Indulge! Make it juicy! Bring it, we adore you :)
Bailey!!! You’re at 6.99 million 😮 at 7 million can we get something extra special? 2 hour long story? 4 stories in one week? Meet and great for a subscriber? 😅😅❤❤❤❤❤
Somehow Bailey now makes me goes to sleep, wherever I'm stressed her videos makes me fall sleep, but then I end up having to watch the video several times until I finaly make it to the end lmaook
Has anyone ever covered the shoemaker? The woman who wrote "Sybil" also wrote "The Shoemaker, Anatomy of a Psychotic" Its a true story and this man is terrifying
Every time the "theme song" is supposed to be there i pause the video to sing it, have a little giggle and then continue the video with the biggest smile on my face😂 I hope I'm not the only one 😅❤
@@ericaa-kn7hm she said that it was never a thing that was meant to be long term and she felt like it didn't go with her videos anymore, so she stopped doing the whole theme song In the beginning it was just a way for her to fill the silence and have a little transition between the intro and actual story so that it feels less awkward to her
i live in the suburbs of chicago and we read the devil in the white city in my american history class which was all about mr herman and his awful shenanigans during the world exposition. this is the first time i’ve ever heard a story from school actually be told on the internet. thank you bailey ily ❤
hearing there’s gonna be a two-parter for the jack the ripper case made me start flailing from excitement 😅 would love to see you cover the zodiac as well
Yess! That was my first thought when I saw the title of this episode. I read that book at like age 16 and it's been one of my favorites since. Phenomenal and captivating writing of true historical events!
I’ve never commented on your videos Bailey, but i decided to today. Ive watched every single episode of MMM over the last two years and it really brings joy to myself and others when you post. Thank you so much Bailey! We love you and your videos!
When this video released I just started reading the Devil in the white city which half the book is about Holmes so I finished reading the book now I'm ready for this ❤
