My parents are Jews from Morocco. My father from Rabat came to America in 1936 Joined the army, fought in WWII, then went back to Morocco and married my mother, she lived in Casablanca. My brothers and I are born here. My home was always, Moroccan music, food, language (Arabic & French). I love my culture and I love the King of Morocco. When you have the same culture, religion should never play a part, It's only ignorance that creates hate!!!!!

As a jew, Morocco will always be my favorite muslim and African country. The only muslim country I feel safe and even welcomed. Morocco is special.

Im a moroccan jew, I live in Israel, my grandfather was from Oujda and my grandmother from Mikness. They left because during independence there were anti-jewish riots. My grandmother tells the story of how the children had to hide in the attic because mob was looking for jews. I love Morocco and my heritage, I have even visited to see my roots, as a jew my home is Israel, but I love my muslim cousins everywhere, they always treated us better than europeans, and I hope one day we can live together in peace like old times.

My grandmother who still lives in Morocco, had a jewish neighbour. She had very good memories of the jews in Morocco. Moroccan jews are not hated in Morocco, to the contrary. They are appreciated and will always be welcome to return to their REAL promised land.

I've met many mizrahi Jews and overall the Moroccan one seemed to have the best memories of the Arab country they came from. That's not always the case in other Arab countries or even Iran and even turkey. How Jews were treated in the Islamic world was really regional and I think Morocco is probably the best at least before world war II for a while. There's a mixed history there were times were Jews were treated terribly in Morocco but overall they were treated pretty well.Every Jew that I met who grew up in Morocco before Israel has nothing but positive things to say. Like I said I've met yemenis Tunisian Egyptians jews that don't speak in aa glowing terms as morrocan jews

I'm not Moroccan but I just happen to watch this ...., my Parents are from Pakistan . My grandfather use to deal in carpets and his best friend was Jewish . My father gets upset when he use to talk about how all the Jewish families left. He said they ate with us as we did with them . Unfortunately Saudi funding has grown in Pakistan even more and now they even want to stop all the sufi music that is the heritage of that country ..,, it's getting worse :0((

My mom learn how to become a Tailor from a jewish woman in the old days. In Tetúan neighbors used to babysit to each other and breastfeed babies as well , jew or Muslim was never and will never be an issue in the Moroccan society.
