A MUST VISIT in Tenerife! Beautiful Masca Valley!  

I have just copied and pasted the below from a Spanish Government website where it was posted on 26th March 2021 and it clearly shows that, although the outright ban to UK citizens coming to Spain ends on 30th March 2021, there are very strict restrictions on who can come and they don't include most of the things the UK allow to leave. This is because since Brexit the UK is a Third Country and because of this you still cannot come to Spain as a tourist and neither to do things like view properties or go to your holiday home etc. Please do something to let your followers know because, as it also says on the FOC advice to travellers, people who try to enter outside these reasons or who don't carry documentary proof they are in the scope of the exemptions can be barred from entry and returned home straight away with the resulting disappointment with no compensation Here are the details, as I said this straight from the horse's mouth, the Spanish Government. IMPORTANT : New rules will apply to enter Spain from the UK. Who can and can't travel to Spain from the UK starting 30th March? Since Brexit, the UK is considered a non-EU country, therefore, according to the Order INT / 657/2020 . - British citizens (as 3rd country nationals) can't travel to Spain at the moment, in general terms. - EU citizens and their relatives -including British ones-, can. This is a temporary regulation which restricts 3rd country nationals entering Spain for public health reasons due to the COVID-19 health crisis. Can a UK citizen married to a Spanish national travel to Spain from 30th March? Yes, as long as they can show the relevant documents. What about a baby born in the UK who only has a British passport and whose mother is Spanish? Yes, as long as the relevant documents can be shown. Are there any exceptions for non-EU citizens? Yes, the Order specifies exemptions allowing entrance in Spain for non-EU citizens (including British citizens) in the following cases: a) residents of the EU, Schengen states, Andorra, the Vatican and San Marino who are traveling to their place of residence B) long term Spanish visa holders C) health care professionals and carers who travel for work D) transport workers E) diplomats, military and members of international organizations F) students with permission or Spanish visas and medical insurance G) highly qualified professionals in some justified cases H) people who are traveling for essential and justified family matters I) force majeure cases, necessary situations or humanitarian reasons J) residents of countries not affected by the restrictions, in some cases (see annex of the Order) Bear in mind that British regulations also apply to citizens currently in the UK and, at the moment international travel is banned except in certain cases.

One of Masca Valley’s most beautiful features are the Canary Islands’ native date palm trees. While they’re very common in California, it’s amazing to see them growing in the wild in their native habitat.

Good advise on taking belongings out of the car Andrew which I have always done problem I had on a few occasions at the Tejita car park we had the wipers stolen and the wheel trims on a hired car

Andrew & Laura. What a fabulous vlog! Well done to you both! Can’t believe how green everything is & how calm it is. We have been there twice but always during the summer. The last time we were there it was 32 degrees. 🔥🔥 You actually couldn’t catch your breath. Very uncomfortable. One advantage to the lack of tourists is that the road is easier to navigate. The 1st time we went I said to my husband that it was a 1 way road until we turned the bend & met a TITSA bus coming towards us. 🤣🤣🤣 Definitely one of your best vlogs. Keep up the great work. We really appreciate your efforts. Not easy when you are trying to run your business too. 👏👏👏

Nice video Andrew. I saved Masca for the last day of my holiday.. Ended up spending about 5 hours in the hotel trying to get my camera to work so I could film it. Got to Los Gigantes to discover I had missed the last bus to Masca, there was one going to it but none coming back.. Next time I go I will get an excursion to it I think.

Beautiful place. When the restaurants are open I would recommend it - lovely tapas . We usually get a taxi to Masca from Los Gigantes as my hubby drove one year and I nearly died!! x

We don't drive so did the coach tours if you think that is precarious by car on the mountain roads do it by coach looking down the ravines is something else 😂
