It's sooo true!! This levelling business is vital. I followed your tutorial for making the trinket tray silicone inlay. They came out perfectly following your amazing tutorial except for one thing....my table was certainly not level haha. So after I get a levelling table, I can try again. I will definitely still use them for something creative, like potplants and pendants ❤ Those mini inlays are beyond cute by the way!!!

I have this same table plus a few others. They are great to have. Yes, resin will come off the table with a flat scraper. But, you end up tearing the blue top sometimes and it won't look new anymore. I recommend wiping it up right away or lay a silicone mat on it before pouring.

Such cute inlays and finished pieces! I bought 2 of J Dictions leveling tables. I don’t have a dedicated work space so, when I get around to pouring; I usually use multiple molds. I haven’t tried them out yet but, I know I’m going to love them. My last pour involved way too many shims!😅 During that pour.. I also discovered that a heat mat will cause a HDPE cutting board to arch and bow.. just like my grandpa’s old horse Dixie would do, right before she tried to throw me.😂 My molds heroically clung on too.. just barely. Thanks for another fun video Wendy!❤

I always had probs with level worktops, cos hidden beneath the conservatory floor, lies a path, Originally sloped for drainage! So, my son & I have tried many things.. he even levelled, then screwed a cabinet to the windowsill, - only prob ? No where to place my knees! Previously we made a large SLT top, but.. was too big to get all sides equal! (It’s new use, is a body slider for beneath his car!) Having seen Steve McD using the Diction SLT I had to have one. But they’d sold out.. so I tried other outlets.. then saved up fr it.. then, I got one! But, for months… I’ve been going thru all the drawers, boxes, tins & bags full of hobby bits, which had became v claustrophobic about me (disabled) So began ordering multi-segment storage boxes, so can see what I’m looking for. It’s lovely to see all the mixed mica powders in one box, & jewellery making pieces in another etc. so I was ready to use the top! But my dang back went into spasm! Then a carer found a tube of broken jewellery bits.. which I’m sorting now! My v tall, grandson visited.. so he’s hung the rainbow nets up to cool it in the sun… Then, it rained! My Granddaughter, & I, actually used sticky-back Velcro pads & fastened the work station table to the floor! Then she levelled the blue SLT & FIXED that to the work station! For 40 yrs, each time I needed a flat surface I’d have to work in the kitchen (getting in the Carer’s way lol) But now, at last I have a Level surface to work at… And my Backs gone Into spasm. Again! (Better luck tomorrow eh lol) But. Tomorrow,

I made my own leveling table :) it cost me a total of about $10… I used a bamboo cutting board that I had never used before as the table… I bought some of those little adjustable feet and a couple little leveling dots… I took two blocks of wood and cut them in half to make 4 legs to put the feet into and he. I used some 5 minute epoxy to glue those blocks on to the bamboo board… waaaahhhh Laaaaa a simple leveling table made by me :)

OMG…. I have done the same thing when trying to blow something off I’m working on… I blew my precious eye candy mica powders that Jeff had sent me a bunch of samples of, ALL OVER MY KITCHEN COUNTER,,,, omg… it was everywhere and I couldn’t save it… it was my favorite color too,,,, I was soooooo mad lol…. And then I laughed…. It wa the absurdity of the d situation that made me laugh at myself… so, now I can giggle again because you did the same thing I did and now i don’t feel,so bad… roflmao😂😂😂😂😂

@@Toonpish we have to,laugh at ourselves… otherwise we'd go insane…. I’m working on my brother's clock…i have a little over an inch thick, poured and cured base completed… now I’m working on getting the American flag / eagle put on to it… I took a picture that he liked and printed it out on to a piece of 11x14 paper, taped it down to a,piece of Mylar and then made a stencil out of it… I cut it by hand with an extremely sharp crafting blade… I have the first layer of the flag done… I am using modeling paste to thicken up the paint so that’s can build up the flag image… after the red stripes dry, I will do the same thing again with the white stripes… I will them pour a thin layer of clear resin over the entire thing… when that cures I will add the blue square and the white stars on that clear layer so it looks like the stars are lifting off of the surface… I’m taking pictures as I go so I can post it… not filming because I would have hours and hours of video to got though to be able to cut it down to something useable… after the lag is done i will add the eagle on top of the flag… I also am using a clock mold to make a 6 inch diameter clock… it will go to the right of the flag… after I get he clock made and put in place, I will do a final clear coat over the entire piece making this thing about 2-2.5 inches thick…. I. Then have to add the clock mechanism to it but I have to rout out a square to set the mechanism in it… I can’t wait for this thing to be finished…. My brother is paying me $300 for this thing… i hope I’m not over charging him for it…
