I was on a Delta Airlines flight from Accra to JFK and I was sitting in first class. A black flight attendant had the audacity to ask if I was suppose to be in that seat. I let her know I purchased this seat & the empty seat beside me because I can. She gave me the most evil look and walked away. Sometimes it’s your own people.

I'm neither South African nor Namibian, but what the hell are these countries thinking to have allowed the Whites to maintain hold of 90% land ownership of these countries after the end of Apartheid? The fact is that you don't really own your country until you truly own it. What is the whole purpose of partially ending Apartheid? These were African lands that were stolen from our forefathers through the shedding of their blood by the first generations of White South African and White Namibian invaders and settlers, and to know that these people are compensated for the crimes and attrocities of their forefathers is beyond unbearable. I would forever be uncomfortable with this setup, except the lands are expropriated without compensation

Years ago, as a white woman, I worked in the travel industry and flew all over the world. Not once was I taken out of line at customs checks. UNTIL I got into a relationship with a black guy. Every time we flew together we were taken out of the line, he (not me!) had to empty his bags and he was checked from top to bottom. White privilege exists, unfortunately it is apparently difficult for many white people to understand because they cannot imagine what people with a different skin color experience every day. I hope that the younger generations will do better so that eventually everyone is seen and treated as an equal!

This is why I always like watching your videos, Ndagire. You always find the best videos to react to. It is rare to hear white people speak the truth like that. My only problem with them is that they are always coming around us telling us about the evils of white supremacy and how privileged they are to benefit from it. We don't need to hear that, we know that truth because we are victims of it. What we need is for those well-meaning, truth-telling whites to convey that to their fellow whites.

The reasons black people speak out Is because being silent on injustice and atrocities on us and our people Seems we condone it are are comfortable with it but we are not Unfortunately when we address or speak on the issue White people see it as criticising or an attack on their people As if they lack the capability to empathise Thinking 🤔 How can they be comfortable with injustice and atrocities to others? Just because its not happening to them or they're benefiting from the pain and deaths of others So I do appreciate their own people addressing the issue to their own kind

What you say is true, I get you. My family and I come from this ancestral group that is known as the melungeons. We are a mix of black, Native American and white. I noticed this because I have grown up beside my cousins who are a bit more melanated than I. That and I was darker, I looked like them more when I was younger, I lost my coloring because I have lupus, I can’t go outside anymore. But people definitely treated me differently then for sure as opposed to now. I also believe that people don’t understand just how much colonialism hurt other cultures like my Native American ancestors. Because we’re still picking up the pieces of what colonization has done 500 years later.

It's called the " Guinness Book of World Records" . This person you were speaking with was trying to be better than someone listed in this book. For instance, if in the book, it took a person 5 days to visit 100 countries in 3 hours. He would do it in 2 days and 105 countries to get his name in the book. If I'm not mistaken, the other person's name is removed from the book.
