Eben Alexander is an American neurosurgeon and author. His book "Proof of Heaven - A Neurosurgeon's Journey into the Afterlife" (2012) describes his near-death experience that happened in 2008 during a coma when he was treated for severe meningitis.
In this interview, he talks about his experience and the far-reaching consequences it had for his own worldview, which was originally strictly materialistic.
