Over the next few hours I will try to give new life to an area that has otherwise been dull & unimpressive to say the least. I will also attempt to spruce up an old bridge that leads to the moon gate. Follow me as we continue to March into May.

Oh Mike I just have to disagree with what you said at the end of the video … you ARE a garden designer, a fabulous one too. I loved watching this project, it looks fantastic. Also I never have any new ideas until I do a little garden walk, like you do, at the end of the day. That’s when new ideas just pop into our heads I think. Thank you for sharing everything again, love it all ❤

You have a natural eye for design and for using different foliage textures, shapes and colours to create stunning borders. I find one of the hardest things is disguising fences to the point that the viewer isn't even aware that there are boundaries to a garden, and that is something I'm still working on in my own garden.

Your gardens and your work ethic are pretty spectacular. Kudos on all your accomplishments in your beautiful garden. Watching the transformation of your space has been nothing short of amazing. (Winter creeper is incredibly invasive. Birds eat the berries and deposit them everywhere in their droppings so preventing it from spreading is nearly impossible and it will crop up well beyond the boundaries of your yard. I’m surprised that you would plant something that will require so much maintenance to attempt to keep it from being a nuisance not just to you but to neighbors for blocks around. Here in KY, no place is immune to its aggressive habit of smothering trees, totally covering the ground in “wild” areas, destroying the natural beauty, as well as back yards in neighborhoods. I have neighbors who haven’t maintained their yard for many years and it smothers their chain link fence around 3 sides of their property and all 15-20 trees in their yard, killing several of them, creeps through the grass and across the sidewalks. Over the years, every yard for blocks has become “victim” to this extremely difficult to remove vine. And each yard that is not well-maintained becomes another berry-producing source of this insidious plant. I apologize for the lecture; you are free to plant whatever you like in your beautiful space. I have battled this scourge for nearly forty years, paying the price perpetuated by my careless neighbors whose yard literally looks like a jungle, smothered by Asian euonymus, aka, winter creeper and I fear your warning was not stringent enough).

Lots of questions for you but will have to go back and write them down. One was what did you do with the tree stump from the Bradford Pear you cut down? Why would you take the waterfall out? It is so relaxing. Everything looks wonderful including the new bridge and the rocks.

Hello! Just wanted to let you know that I've been watching and following along since you started your channel. I love your garden so much, probably one of the best I've seen here on YT, and I follow a lot of gardeners. Little request, I would love it if you made a video sharing with us all of the different conifers and trees you have in your garden. I have a typical suburban lot and would love to start adding some trees for privacy and beauty. Thank you!

Love this! Wished I would have gotten outside in that wind today. Wow, you guys get way more rain then we do here in Topeka. Our dry rock creek bed hasn’t seen any substantial rain for years. Where did you find those rocks? I’m assuming in KC somewhere? I need to expand ours with a raised bed design and add more Japanese maples. Im mixing it with AZ avalanche granite red rocks. Really love your design, it’s cool.

I just recently found your channel and I’m enjoying all your videos. I live in Kentucky and I am dealing with the wintercreeper now. A few years ago we put down some tree mulch and I guess some of the seeds was in that. Now I am fighting to get rid of it as it is trying to take over everything.
