We broke with Scriptural authority when we started ordaining women, once that was done we needed a new source of authority and it appears we have settled on secular liberal culture as our new authority, so anything goes... If we continue down this path the CofE will die as God is not in it. The only way to save the Church is to get back to Scriptural authority and do what God tells us we should.

Dan, I have been ordained since 2006 and I thought I was the only person I knew of who regularly preached on the importance of God's holiness in all things and our need to train ourselves for it, in order to be ready to enter God's kingdom when our time here in this life is done. I cannot tell you how thrilled I am to find a fellow brother putting forward the same view. Don't stop preaching this! It will be the great work of God in this age, only he needs people like you me and hopefully many others to do the same, so that the lost might be saved and the glory be his. God bless you brother!

I first tried going to church as an adult back in 1987. I tried the nearest Anglican parish Church and walked into a thriving church with over 100 in the congregation, a very good priest and a very friendly atmosphere. Sadly it isn't that way now, it's down to about 20 and the age profile isn't good. I left in the 90s to become a Roman Catholic although it felt like the Anglican church had left me. Now we face the same destructive forces within the Catholic Church. I don't doubt something will survive but the sad thing is many souls may be lost on the way.

It would definitely be worth trying to get Ian Paul on again. His perspective is clear and helpful.

The doctine of purity according to St.Paul is living by the spirit of God. Its the effect of seaking his face, and allowing it to shine upon us. The ascetics are a wonderful exqmple of this doctrine, who have made our Country Christian in the past.. Pray for their return.

I"m a Catholic. While we are are just beginning to pursue the idea of a "synodal church", what I've learned fro,m listening to this channel is the Church of England has different levels of synods. . No wonder there's so much confusion. Enjoyed your message Rev. Dan.

The more the church tries to be inclusive the more congregations dwindle. Narrow is the gate and difficult is the way. I would like to go to church more but other than Christmas carol service and funerals the place is empty.

This was said for Israel. We are not Israel, but WE are His People through Christ, or ought to be! We are being changed from to glory to glory, to become more like Christ, as Paul wrote in the Epistle to the Romans, by the the Holy Spirit. *To be like Christ.* Not the other way around (but some would have that to justify their lifestyles)! No doctrine, dogma, papal bull, Archbishop, Bishop or General Synod will ever supercede Scripture - fasting, praying is good,,but it's no good unless we are prepared to lose *our* own agendas and, if that means dropping things like LLF and other diabolic agendas, even if covered in a Christian veneer, then we must do it, personally and corporately! Or the C of E, especially, is *finished!* G-d the Father is drawing a line - choose whom you will serve; if Baal, serve him. If G-d the Father, serve Him! There are NO Denominations in Heaven nor before G-d the Father, but the Bride of Christ, the Remnant Church out out of the Church Politic, currently infested with the Jezebel Spirit - if you know who and what Jezebel was, then you know. Otherwise, try and prove me wrong when you see what is happening in the Church Politic, from the head down! Reread my first paragraph, people and consider it. Shalom Shabat.

It's not just the C of E that has problems. Most other Churches are just as bad, but they do it in different ways. Having been told by God recently, very clearly, to leave the Independent Church that we were part of I asked Him where I should go now and He replied "Find some where that is "Tolerable", be salt and light there and leave the rest to Me". Tolerable is probably the best you are likely to find in these difficult days.

I have been a member of the CofE for 80yrs, but I can not call myself Anglican any longer. Such a sad and fearful place it’s now in.

Nothing is new under the sun. Relax brother. Keep the main thing the main thing, this is a rollling brawl through time. Our brother Paul determined to keep it simple. Our Lord born through a virgin betrothed who is Emanuel, God with us fulfillling prophecy years before. He builds his bride with passion, this is extremely exciting. Moses sidekick Joshua hung out in the tent of meeting besotted with our LORD. We need to do the same. It is all good, the conclusion is a done deal. Church of England needs to stop playing games with God.

The mandate is clear. Christians are called to stand and be counted. If you're a nominal Christian it wouldn't matter to you either way, but if you've studied the truth of God's word, then you know what you have to do. Do not tarry. This is a World wide struggle. Would it be admissible for individual parishes/churches to hire private marketing/advertising agencies to promote their churches and what they stand for? This way, the public would know which church they wish to attend instead of it being a lottery for them. It would also free up the ministers to concentrate on preaching and teaching.

Sadly all of the changes in the CoE since I was Christened in the 1950s have only hastened the decline. Decreasing numbers of vocations and children makes the end inevitable. It’s very sad.

We certainly do need a new 'Church of England' since 'His Majesty's Department of Godly Affairs' is certainly dead in the water now - assuming it ever was properly alive in the first place.

No, the Lord is not calling the CofE back to holiness, He is calling people to leave the CofE for the Holy (Eastern) Orthodox Church.

Arminianism/Provisionalist theology is the problem. Not preaching the imputed righteousness of active obedience to Christ is dismissed in lots of Churches. Saying we have the ability to choose or reject Christ is taught in lots of Churches. The “Spurgeon” Gospel was rejected long ago . Liberalism is preached and is no Gospel at all.

If this bloke called Dan was a Spirit filled , repentant follower of the Lord Jesus Christ, he would have been out of the catholic c of e long ago. 2 Corinthians 6 : 17 et al in the King James Bible. Reverend ? Deserving " reverence " in my Oxford Dictionary. Do you deserve reverence, Dan ? Reverence ? Awe , respect and veneration in my Oxford Dictionary. You seem to be on a papist pedestal, Dan. It must be the unbiblical paycheck that's holding you to your unbiblical role in your unbiblical institution. This, of course, holds for all the denominations and their fake leaders.
