lowering the difficulty is stopping you from getting the alternate story paths. For example, taking Krillin to the Radditz fight is supposed to have you survive.

I don't think that's it, I was playing earlier on PS5 and I was still getting alternate story choices to work. The first one in particular is really annoying, in order to fulfill the win condition you have to absolutely disintegrate Raditz without letting the time run too long or taking too much damage. I got it by pretty much spamming super Kamehameha lol

@@nerdyarthurt.v5068 I mean, you DO have to kill raditz before the "time" runs out. Still the game has a warning that playing on reduced difficulty will stop you from getting alternate paths

The Raditz fight I might've cleared without changing the difficulty but I know I had to when I ran into another alt path where you have to fight the entire Ginyu Force with only one Goku. I had to lower the difficulty but I still got the alternative ending.

Not gon lie I contemplated it but then realized I’d rather be stubborn and get frustrated then allow myself to change the damn game mode to make it easier. I beat the main story in a few hours it was hard.

Actually no. It’s not a bug. There’s technically a time limit. You have to literally beat raditz like he (I mean technically he did) stole something. to the point where he literally has zero health left. That has to be done before Piccolo charges the Special beam Canon. The key signifier letting you know is when Goku says he’ll give krillin and piccolo time to charge their techniques

Hey vegeta. If the yellow diamond meter with arrow shows up and it’s filled you can switch characters, and if you want the alternate saiyan saga, you have to deplete raditz health in a certain amount of time. (Either before or RIGHT after Goku tells krillin and piccolo he’ll stall raditz)
