Only 8 souls survived the flood in Noah's day - the rest perished because they took no note of the warnings. @@jamesruscheinski8602 From what you have said I believe you are on the right idea. As much as everyone imagines the end being supernatural, it will actually be quite natural. God prefers working the supernatural through the natural. The new heaven and new earth are about an awakening. God's intention for the Church is not the traditional church with ministers, bishops, and a pope. God's Church is a spiritual Church not limited by buildings, and clergy. A world wide Church of love whereby a wide variety of beliefs and truths are shared. The end has already begun. It began in 2012. Yet people are unaware of it because it's a slow transition process. Like Jesus's mustard seed the spiritual church is gradually growing while the church of the earth is dying. People are beginning to think for themselves and not just blindly accept what the Church says. Science is accelerating at an exponential rate. Spirituality and science are merging. We are on the borderline of a spiritual revolution.

The topic is afterlife. What's the point in discussing those 5.5 to 6 billion people's views who simply do not believe in it.

I can't imagine a kind of statistical mechanics that wouldn't lead to increasing entropy (but my imagination may have missed something). Or maybe heaven has an infinite energy source and an external heat sink without the benefits of the afterlife.
