It would be wonderful to have a cure! I have been a Type 1 for 55 years. I have always wondered that if there was a cure, would the insulin manufactures keep it hidden so that they don't lose any income from the expensive insulin?

I used to think that, but there are so many doctors/researchers who are diabetic themselves or have children with T1 diabetes that I do believe they are actually trying to cure themselves or their loved ones. I do understand your thinking though.
