My Sims Kingdom was my shit when I was little. I played that game religiously.

I remember getting this game for my birthday as a kid and one day I played for like 2 hours and forgot to save before I quit so I called my mom while she was at work and was bawling to her about how much progress I lost on my virtual neighborhood😂😂

I love the MySims series! If it's an HD remaster, I might actually buy it. I haven't paid for anything from EA for the past ten years as I'm a strong believer of voting with your wallet. But this is something I'd absolutely "vote" for. I want to see more MySims and potentially remasters of the other older games.

Playin' this on my Wii back in the day was up there with my PS2 The Sims 2 Castaway addiction.

At this point I'm more looking forward to this port than I am to whatever it left of Sims 4 and Sims 5. MySims Agents was my favorite and I was waiting for part 2.

Nice to see MySims come back. I would love to see another Sims which is like the older console titles (games like Bustin Out, Castaway and the console version of 2 as examples).

ts2 has actually been sort of remastered but only on mac. the game is in 4k i think? i'm not sure but when i got the game i was surprised it was so smooth and crisp

if it is: can we plz expand the world so you can move EVERYONE in! that's one of my issues with the original game, there are like 50+ villagers but you can only have like 30 or something. So it feels super limiting

Cozy games are pretty popular on Nintendo Switch, but so are nostalgia games. And this hits the mark of both. And Lazy EA doesn't have to do anything new to test entering that space this way. I think this is just a way to put a lite Sims game on Nintendo switch and it's probably gonna make enough revenue to be worth it because of how the nintendo eShop works. A lot of adults will be into it for the Nostalgia alone. But also a ton of adults play games that look like MYSims for the cozy vibe. It fits it with that market, it doesn't need to be bigger than Animal Crossing to be very very financially viable for them. I don't know how InZoi is the more mature game, no matter how it looks. Zois shower and bathe in a full on towel and they don't even have sex for fun. Basic romantic interactions at time of demo sent for playtest are limited. But Nothing is more sanitized in InZoi then having a cut scene that's just a hug make babies. 😂😂 Vanilla Sims may have a goofy woohoo animation but it's cartoony goofyness is how they get away with it in vanilla Sims. Adults get what it is and kids could easily have a lot of it go over there head. But since InZoi is Korean, in it's unmodded vanilla form it may always be very very chaste.

Urbz or bustin' out would be better tbh. The GBA versions.

MySims was one of my favorite series as a kid, and I still enjoy the games today, super excited to see a comeback, just hope EA doesn't screw it up (I don't have much faith in them but I have a lot of hope) Also 3:58 the PC version of MySims does work fine, I've gotten some weird display issues when I launch it for the first time but it gets fixed if you change the display settings.

I've been wanting to replay this for years

If I were to guess, it's a port of the PC version with additional new features. Online play was a big thing that they did when they were porting the game to PC, and those servers shut down years ago. Rereleasing the game could give players like myself who never got to experience the online functionality of the game a chance to be able to do so. Additionally, the PC version was a port of the Wii version and that still got new features to it, so I wouldn't be surprised if the Switch version will also have new features of it's own. Just because it is being considered a port doesn't mean there will be nothing new about it at all other than better graphics and better performance, but it's still good to keep that in mind just to be safe.

I loved My sims! I was so on RU-vid back in the day when this game came out and loved watching the gameplay when I couldn’t play the original but I ended up playing the spin offs of the original my sims spin off and just enjoyed the heck out of it as a kid 😂😭💖🌟✨

i'm fine with it being just a port, hopefully if it does well they'll bring the series back :( i loved the mysims games (even the plane one) so it'll be nice to have them them accessible again. hoping they port mysims kingdom and agents too. maybe we'll finally get that agents sequel the devs wanted to make if the series comes back??

it's very interesting that you're not able to download it despite owning it. mysims was one of the first games I bought when I got my laptop christmas of 2022 and it worked perfectly for me. I never uninstalled it, so maybe they've changed it since then, but it could just be the ea app being stupid. hopefully they didn't quietly delist it for the upcoming game, but I'd wouldn't be surprised from them

i want the game the way it is!!!!! i have never seen this lol. the movement seems good for those, like me, that have motions sickness issues. i didn't start playing sims until sims 3. didn't start sims 4 until strangerville came out and got my attention. didn't know it was on anything other than computers until i started watching channels lol. i would love for them to bring back castaway and medieval. maybe add more stuff.

When MySims was first released I used all my saved pocket money to buy it. Came home and put the CD in the computer and the game didn’t work. It wasn’t until years later that learned that faulty batches of CDs were sold and later recalled. I wish the internet was a bigger thing back then

I played My Sims, My Sims Kingdom, My Sims Party, and I return to play My Sims Agents every few years (I love a mystery) I. NEED. THIS. TO. HAPPEN! Also, as a cozy game player and veteran Animal crossing player, New Horizons exhausted me quickly. I don’t want to build a whole island or compare it to other islands. I just want to pay off debt, go to the Roost, and buy the latest clothes from Gracie Grace.

they need to do sims medieval but make it bigger like sims 4 with more dynamic interactions! so many people turn the sims 4 into a medieval version. Also agree on spore i relaly liked that game

I loved MySims as a kid Why we never got any other MySims game to PC is beyond me, but I’d love PC ports of games like Kingdom since it was the best game, or Agents cause it was a more story driven game

Not a new game but a remaster of the original game possibly using the Wii Port. I'm still excited that something that made a lot of sense like putting this on the switch only seemed logical in the first place. Childhood restored!

It makes the most sense for them to just rerelease it atp. The most popular cozy games and farming sims have proved you dont need the best graphics to sell games, and nostalgia alone can make things go viral. The next switch will be coming out in the next year or two. Hopefully, if enough people show interest in this version they will continue the series 🤞🏾🤞🏾

Sims 2 port or reboot would bring me back, I still watch videos and updates but haven’t played since tiny living or Star Wars whichever came out later lol And Spore was amazing 🤣💯

I never played MySims but I do hope this isn't a port and is an entirely new game (knowing EA, it'll just be a port). I don't know if it can compete with other cozy games out there as the market is so oversaturated, but it will at the very least fit in well. I don't know if I'd get it but I'm sure people will. I would DIE for a remaster of The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection 😭 I know it can be played on PC but it requires literally so many fixes to not self-corrupt, and the version on the Mac App Store doesn't have all the packs (and I'm sure it also still requires tons of fixes).

It'd have to be a remaster I think, THQ are remastering Epic Mickey and that's from the Wii days. It could be include in Nintendo Switch online as a straight port, but I don't know.

I dont think EA will ever do anything with Spore because that was specifically Will Wright's game and he doesn't work for EA anymore

even if it's a port, mysims will do great I have no doubt. It was a solid, adorable, cozy simulation game and people loved it and have fond nostalgia for it. I know people have been begging for EA to remaster and port their old games (SIMS 2 EA SIMS 2 DO IT DO IT DO IT). Honestly I could spend hours and hours on mysims, and I think a lot of the newer cozy games have a lot of the same vibes and features so they can get older quickly. Idk maybe I'm biased but I don't think it's gonna flop, not at all. I'm gonna buy it, at least ;P
