I think we just need to just ignore the potara thing, cause i'm pretty sure that daima is canon to super and the characters that appear will appear in the manga, according to geekdom.
I feel like the Kibitokai thing will go one of two ways: 1. It's retconned, and Kibito and Shin defuse early in the show. And maybe as a gag, the two fuse again thinking they could stand a chance against the enemy (since it seems Shin will be fighting) as well). It obviously doesn't work. Or, 2. They automatically defuse cause of the curse, and automatically refuse after the curse ends. If neither of these happen, it'll probably just end up as an inconsistency. The same thing happened in the future arc of DBS. Yajirobe died in Trunks' Future, but for some reason, he's alive in DBS.
Regarding the fusion thing, I think both situations can be true and considering aknowledgement of multiple universes as well as the concept of not every set of Dragon Balls being 7 in total kinda tells me it will connect into Super
I'm fine with the concept of everybody being kids because of a wish, I'm not mad with that, but I dislike that is taking place BEFORE super. Just let the story advance please, I want to see Goten, Trunks and Pan grow up
I thought it was going to take place at least after the Super Hero movie, based on Piccolo’s Gi, it’s the same as in the movie, But Daima will apparently tie into super down the road, So it’s sort of comforting at least. This show is setting up to be great, It looks amazing, even better than Broly, The lore is about to explode adding in the Demon Realm, Personally, I can’t just not watch this, it’s too promising to miss out on.
@@Sarge327 Well if it took place at the end of super, the chances of Goten and Trunks being babies is significantly reduced at the very least and they can contribute with everyone else.
Since we might be getting a new movie my best guess is that it won’t be manga content, but maybe another new canon character so much to Broly and if that is thats the case I hope it’s Cooler
I wouldn’t say “non-canon” as Geekdom says, there’s no such thing as canon. It could just be another timeline. So think of this possibility DragonBall manga, Toriyama’s work - timeline 1 DragonBall - G.T (anime) - Timeline 2 DragonBall - Super (anime) - Timeline 3 DragonBall - Super (Toyotaro’s work) - Timeline 4 Not in order, but as an idea
@@azimuddin1890I don't like the idea of canon not being an idea, so I personally see the "canon" timeline of the series go like this: OG DB is the start. DBZ comes after. Daima happens after Z ends. Super happens after Daima. And the DBS movies happen after Super.
@@azimuddin1890 I think Canon is an official thing, it's just really loose. Like, the Z movies aren't canon to Z or Super, since they don't get mentioned, or even remembered (Why would Goku not recognize Broly's name is Z Broly was an enemy before), but, GT's timeline *does* tie into the Z movies (Watch the show if you haven't and you'll see). OG DB and Z are clearly the "canon" series and you can honestly choose if you want GT or Super to be the next "canon". Daima actually has a nice space between the End of the Buu Saga and the Start of Super, and a few simple writing choices can easily make it "canon" to the Z and (Whatever else) series'.
It could simply be that both are true. Defusing because it being inside Buu but also it only lasts 1 hour for non Kai’s. Not that it ever made much sense to begin with, since Gotenks took 30 minutes to defuse inside Buu.
A broken clock is right twice a day. At some point new Super content is going to come out and Geekdom is going to be like "SEE I TOLD YOU GUYS!!!" even though he's been parroting the same "leak" for the past half a decade.
Maybe they mean the future of it won’t be canon, are we forgetting canon means it’s made by the og creator, by definition how can anything be canon after the lost of toriyama
This to me feel more like a continuation of DBZ and to confirm my feeling is that he did not want super and was forced to be apart of it. Toriyama actually was hands on with daima, and probably has a full story to officially end dragon ball forever.
@@ultranecromos9915 He never said that once, he literally wrote Super Heroes and directly confirmed that the DBS: Super Heroes movie/manga adaptation was set before the final chapter of his original manga (the end of Z). You can look this up yourself, ignore the bs
But Kabito and Shin were never ABSORBED by Buu to begin with that they got separated so thats another major flaw there...or big 4uck up, its really really hard to see that Daima and supper are not connected the fact that most of the OTHER character designs that we see in that party PRETTY MUCH look like the designs from Super just in a different style but still not much of a difference if you ask me, so yeah Daima is just GT 2.5 XD
So i assume after Buu its a bunch of split timelines and im honestly okay with it. I dont like how super went full on galaxy powered super gods with multiverse sheningans. We had reached a point where goku UI was so powerful i cant really believe there is someone out there that would be stronger. So resetting it back is a good way and who knows maybe we get a new transformation that isnt just hair color change and more ala ssj4
I wonder for what reason would Buu absorb kibito Kai? I don’t know if it’s the bad google translate but that kinda sounds weird, Anyway according to Geekdom, Daima will connect to Super later so I’m pretty sure a sufficient explanation will be provided as to why they’re defused and how they possibly would re-fuse again before BoG.
@@walidimadali4654A plot hole like this would be very bad because it’s completely avoidable. I think though given his reputation, Toriyama won’t slip up on this one, They have to re-fuse at some point before BoG, it’s as simple as that.
Onistliy if the thing about the supreme kai defusing due to buu is true im ok with it, its a retcon that doesn't hurt the story at all and makes more sences then the dragon balls being stronger then tools of the gods
I’m looking at this as an alternate canon for people who don’t like super. Because honestly daima can’t fit that narrative. Plus I’m pretty sure daima was stated to not be canon.
@@kirillheroes98 Tbh that doesn't really mean anything. Toriyama is not with us anymore and when he was he often forgot details or said things he never expanded on later on.
@@JM-tj5qm bruh don’t let him bait u he’s spamming this comment everywhere with no type of proof I have never in my entire span of being a dragon ball fan heard that from toriyama nor any other source.
Ive been telling people they were only touting super as canon because it was the current show on air. It was marketing. Toriyama's manga is technically the real canon. And it stops at the buu arc. That doesn't make super any more or less enjoyable then you felt about it while it aired. And you could easily explain each aeries as an alternate timeline... Although i bet alot of people who had it in their mind that GT wasn't canon because it was "bad" are probably having trouble processing this. If the people working on these shows cared as much about canon as we do they would have put more effort into making sure it was consistent with established facts in Z. But they did what they wanted, like break the rules over the time chamber being used more than 2 times. Or making Goku personality regress to be more immature.
The Dragon Ball Super manga was, in part, written by Toriyama. He had to approve everything, and storyboarded with Toyotarou. It has been called the official continuation of his manga. It is indeed canon. Even in the past, Toriyama played fast and loose with the canon. He flat out said he forgot Launch and the animal people existed, and when Cell explains his origins, he mentions Trunks killing Freeza and King Cold in his timeline, which shouldn't have happened. Hell, he forgot Dragon Ball Super was called Dragon Ball Super, which is why the latest movie is callee "Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero." Dragon Ball is filled with inconsistencies. This doesn't make things noncanon.
Atp there making everything post Buu a dragon all anthology. Buu saga’s the true ending that they spearhead new series off of. This is the third time there doing this now so as I see it, it’s another multiverse. So everything’s canon and not canon now. GT, Super, & Daima all fall under the same category of anthology.
Super has no reason to be canon, wtf are you talking about? Lol super has so many inconsistencies that itd probably benefit the series to make super non canon
But… they’re both canon. Anything that comes out of Toriyama is canon, so basically only Champa isn’t really fully canon but I’m guessing Toriyama saw it as canon since it gets mentioned in tournament of power and is literally the whole reason that arc exists in the first place since Goku asked Xeno for it.
Well I think dragon ball is a mess now because there's nothing cannon anymore wich is a bit of a good thing because fans and creators can make up there own storys and make AlterNet dimestions
@ZZYDDD yeah... again, I'd love if it wasn't canon. The only actual loss imo is broly from dbs which I love. Ssb is kinda trash, UI is just busted and not that fun to watch compared to ssj, goku black was a failed attempt at an evil goku, and gogeta blue is pretty cool, but again I don't like ssb that much so. Having gogeta not be canon would be kinda sad though. Super has way too many inconsistencies so I really wouldn't mind if they made it not canon for something else more grounded and less god transformation related
