I like the cast, they're designs look good. Still look like teenage stereotypes but most of them you would find them normal when walking through the school hallways. Can't wait to see how this season turns out. Hope it be better from the last two island seasons. (Not counting the race season). Also that girl on the far left seems like if Gwen and Izzy were fused into one. So I like that.
She'll probably end up being a runner up , Mostly being a creep and I could guess she's gonna eavesdrop on everyone in her team to get them eliminated .
Apparently the reason Chef is dressed like he is in Dramarama doesn’t have anything to do with Dramarama (thankfully) according to an interview with Terry Mcgurrin, one of the writers, he was promoted by Chris!
@@FearfulDivine he rejiggered the format to focus on survival, meaning no more campground, no more amenities, and no one to cook food for the contestants. Either he blew the budget for the season having an artificial island built, or he decided not to have that stuff built just because he could. Either way, it left Chef with very little to do that season.
@@satan9734 well, we know that Chris is also exists in Dramarama universe. Plus, we don’t actually know in what period this season sets. So its either prequel or sequel. And Chris could also host TD before our cast or in Dramarama universe. Or this phrase could be said just for promotional material, since there’re also old fans who grew on this show
I'm italian, I'm glad they're keeping Chris's voice actor. Can't wait for the new season! But I kinda wonder why it aired here before Canada. Reminds me of Pahkitew Island, which aired in Italy before Canada itself.
it seems everyone on the green team is kind of in a duo. there’s the two brothers, the couple in the back, Nichelle and Julia also seem like they’ll be a sort of duo. and then MK and the other girl i forgot her name

I'm surprised that they're having the show on Camp Wawanakwa, considering the fact the whole island sunk in All-Stars because Chef used a fracking machine to construct the moats in the final challenge. Regardless, I'm hoping the new season will be better than the last few ones we had (not counting the Ridonculous Race).

@@JTS_P actually if the writers write it nicely, they could, for example, total drama all stars was a good idea, but then the execution wasn’t as good as it could have been… *cough cough* they dumbed everyone down.
@@huntress1123 I dont know the exact number of people in all the total drama series but I know it would just be way too many. The season would be VERY long especially since they like to squeeze in non-elimination episodes. The season would be well over 100 episodes.
@@JTS_P actually their could chances for sudden eliminations if your last of more then one elimination for a episode, all in all theirs actually around 50 contestants, and what I want is most of revenge of the island cast to compete, and probably all of the OG cast to compete, not all but most
Theory: I believe the military caught wind of an out-of-control island that needed to be terminated. Either the blasts sunk Pahkitew Island and Wawanakwa resurfaced over time, maybe Pahkitew Island controlled or signalled a military strike, or maybe the government shot missiles somewhere else and caused the fracking machine’s damage to reverse from the shift?

I'm italian and right now I was watching the TV and then BAM i saw the trailer,I thought it was weird that I didnt heard that the trailer was out because its my fav cartoon and I follow many accounts that talks about that,AND WHAT I FOUND OUT?THAT THE TRAILER IS ONLY IN ITALIAN?I didnt expect that at all because I didnt see it online before ,so I was kinda shocked (sorry for eventually grammar errors)
I have a theory what if this season is set BEFORE total drama island. As you can see at 2:19 chef is wearing is daycare outfit for totaldramarama. (Tbh I haven't watched TDRAMA) If could hint that maybe it was set before. They just didn't tape the prier seasons of total drama island. Just a theory though as Chris does state in total drama island it is season 1. But who knows this could be before the show blew up or something.

I honestly hope the reboot will be more mature (like the iCarly reboot with the characters swearing occasionally) since the kids who grew up watching total drama are adults now.
So I only hope they explain how the island is back, even if it’s a ridiculous excuse I hope we get one. I mean Terry did say the other seasons happened. Maybe they are just going to say season 5 never happened lmao!! 😂😂 but if it did then I hope they explain a little bit in how they got the island back.
When was there a final six leak? As someone who’s kept fairly up to the show’s progress, I’ve never even heard of that before, and, even if it may be spoiling the show for myself, I can’t say I’m not interested.
@@_chazee_ It would be cool if like everyone including Chris and Chef didn't know how the island un-sinked but there's clues hidden throughout the episodes leading up to a episode near the end. But that probability is so low...
but I am glad to see him back as host again cause I didn't like the ridonculous race that much like don't get wrong as least don treated his players with respect and like human beings unlike chris
