Now that the foundation is done, there is a LOT of dirt to move before we move on to the next stage of the greenhouse build. Before we backfill, we need to sift the ton of dirt that we excavated to separate the rocks and get clean fill for the greenhouse. Introducing a new tool for the job: the Kioti TL750 Track Loader. A brand new machine, that should be perfect for the job!

When you're moving with a load, you want to lower the load as much as possible, ideally to just above the ground, this will lower the center of gravity, and help with the tipping. Moving with the load 2 feet above ground is raising the center of gravity and that coupled with the uneven terrain is causing the tipping effect.

Exactly what I was going to say. I would add that backing up an incline with a full bucket compounds the problem. Also, smooth out the path.

Hi Amy, Not bad for a first timer. What would help that tippy feeling is to scrap the dirt humps away from in front of the grizzly.
@ColoradoMountainLiving

Yes, it was nerve wracking getting used to the tipping feeling.

You'll never want to give it back to them. That be great for snow removal and other task. Warm and toasty in the winter .

G'day you two, greetings from down under. Just a thought, perhaps some of that rock at the bottom of the back fill to help with drainage?
@ColoradoMountainLiving
@ColoradoMountainLiving 19 дней назад
Yeah I think it will be a mix of small rock and dirt.

Will your snow plow fit on the front of the skid steer? So you don't have to plow backwards?
@ColoradoMountainLiving
@ColoradoMountainLiving 9 дней назад
The skid steer is just on loan for the week, but the plow fits on our side by side just fine!

@ColoradoMountainLiving Sorry, I originally meant the snow blower. :-) Hope you have fun with it while you have it!

Is the Greenhouse foundation level? it looks like its tilted! or is that just the camera angle?
@ColoradoMountainLiving
@ColoradoMountainLiving 19 дней назад
Yeah you know the entire hillside is a big slope, so to get the camera level, it's tilted .

I never understand why people have pets out when running heavy machinery. One you tuber ran over a puppy because they didn’t know it was behind a tire.

“They” should have looked. Vigo isn’t a puppy. Amy and Brian are intelligent and so is the dog.

Man that is a rough operator: lower the RPM's to 1800 or so when all the power isn't needed and try to ease into the valve action.

Smooth the ground around the sifter. Your driving over a hump.

Looked like fun Amy, till vigo decided to take a break in the freshly sifted dirt. Put him away while running the equipment so nothing bad happens.. you can also put some rock down to smooth out the path you are using, looks very uneven
