All you had to do was ground pound the platform to get the bomb up top in the beginning of the second level you played. You made it way more difficult.

@@DGR_Dave lol nah, it's not ineptitude. Your probably better at Mario Maker than me. Sometimes things are just easy to miss lol.. I know I couldn't beat some of those kaizo levels that you do. And I definitely haven't beaten any of Barb's levels lol

What ive learned is is Dave can do a level, I absolutely cant. However, if Dave has trouble with something, its him making things 100 times harder than they’re supposed to be and i absolutely can. 😂

I tend to roll my eyes to the wholesome "you helped me get through a rough time" comment as I find them sometimes a little corny but lol, I have to say that it does help me a little to have that daily thing when for half an hour I can smile watching this funny guy who's always in a good mood (a testament to your professionalism) struggling with puzzles. Thanks ! I don't do Twitch but I'm gonna find a way to show you my appreciation (with money I mean)

I agree that those kinds of comments can come off as very self-aggrandizing in a "pity me!" sort of way, but I also try to look at it from the channel creator's perspective that those kinds of comments give them motivation to keep uploading. It's annoying for you and me, but in all honesty, our opinions on the matter aren't relevant if the commenter is genuinely getting something out of the content and the creator is getting the morale boost they need. (Also, channels like this have actually helped me get through some rough times too, I just prefer to keep that to myself than advertise it to the entire Internet lol).

Thank god Dave admitted his complaint's during the second level were undeserved. That level looks amazing!! Proper challenges for experienced Mario-players without the necessity to know the 'Mario Maker' hitboxes or gimmicks. Simply a challenging plattformer! There are more reasons to complain about Kaizo Levels or Troll Levels than this.

You should do uncleared levels from Mario Maker 1. Since no more levels are being uploaded, it would be possible to leave no levels left uncleared

Slight problem. After March 10th of last year, you can't even play the levels other people uploaded, IIRC.

Congratulations on over 1000 first clears! You have such skill and tenacity when playing these levels that many cannot match. It's unreal how I get nervous when you are going through difficult sections of levels, even though I am not playing them! Thanks for the great content!

Hiding mandatory objects like keys is a valid reason for using the level viewer. Everything else is just a huge waste of time. Unless you really love searching the entire level for a randomly placed hidden block. Also I think this is partly Nintendo's fault because they allowed hiding keys in the first place. Dave, you should boo these types of levels. Boos are not only meant for the hottest of garbage. Levels which deliberately waste the player's time are also very deserving of a boo.

Personally, I think the level viewer is perfectly acceptable when faced with a level in which the creator thought creating a garbage level was perfectly acceptable.

Congratulations on clearing over 1000 levels no one else could (or wanted to). Great work! All my levels have been cleared but one, from 7/28/19. It’s one of my tougher ones, but if I was able to clear check it, it can’t be too bad because I’m no super expert. It’s an auto scroller called “Keep Up With It, Plumber”. It just requires some memorization and precision momentum jumps. I’ve never seen a streamer find one of my levels and I have no idea what difficulty level my courses get categorized as. If you want to give it a try, it’s 2NT-V8S-47G.

That Japanese level looks fun! It looks to be Super Meatboy inspired. I think in the beginning you ground pound on the seesaw and shoots the bomb in the blocks 🤔

Dave, please stop worrying about using the level viewer. If it makes some stupid level easier for you, then just do it. We want you to have fun so just do whatever is fun and makes you happy because that makes for better content for us and it means you'll be doing more often or for longer, because you're enjoying what you're doing instead of spending an hour looking for a dev block to some crappy level that no one cares about. We all love you Dave and it helps us and makes us happy when things are going well for you too. Thanks for uploading so often, I'm very grateful and based on the comments and views, everyone else is too.

That's what I thought too but I never saw him doing it. I've never even played the game (but have been watching various players for years) and it looked like the most obvious thing to do. Maybe the problem was that there was only an arrow for bomb to go up but no down arrow as an indicator for Mario to ground pound.

I was going to make a comment about you not ground pounding the seesaw to launch the Bob-ombs in that second level until I saw your comment saying that you just realized after you filmed this video. I was beginning to wonder if you were ever gonna realize that all it takes is that and not jump in there with the bomb which also ended up being a softlock!!!
