Ashley is a riot! And you, Caroline, are a lovely audience for his exuberant, playful humor. Between the two of you, I smiled all the way through your video. The four candles had me in stitches as this is definitely my husbands go to lol 😂. It was like watching us on a journey and that is exactly what my husband says every time I buy a candle 😂xx

Bit behind with your vlogs Caroline as been back to Essex to see our daughter. Love the greenery and country lanes especially when I'm back. Been a long time since we visited Somerset. Gorgeous..fork handles omg crying 😂😂 glad you had a lovely night away x

Is Ashley the family comedienne? My hubby gets impatient at times and gets up to go without realising I'm still drinking my coffee.I love the fork handles reference ,I must be getting older .Somerset was my home county for many years and is lovely .I still have family there and in Devon .Thank you both for a loverly vlog.xx.

Morning Caroline. Thank goodness you didn't make the overnight stay on May 4th....Ashley would have had even more of a field day with Yoda 😂. The place you stayed looked lovely, as did the food you showed us. Thank you for sharing with us.

Oh Caroline...i couldn't believe it when you visited lovely Wedmore. It has many happy memories for me as my Sister-in-law used to live there and as a family we spent many happy times there. We have visited since she passed away and stayed at The Swan. There are so many places you can visit such as Cheddar, Glastonbury and not too far away is Burnham- on-Sea. Thank you Caroline for visiting one of my favourite places. Xx

We had five days in Bakewell Derbyshire a week ago and the weather was beautiful, I packed for all weathers to be safe . We stayed on the Middleton estate in a beautiful coach house it was so relaxing.

Morning Caroline. I can relate to going off the sat nav. Hubby and I always bicker when that happens. No matter where we're going, I'm always waiting for him. I now tell him a time 15 minutes before we have to go just so he is ready. I knew you wouldn't be able to resist the Yankee candles. I remember the two Ronnie's clip lol. Lovely village and food looks delicious. Shame about the weather, so unpredictable. Thank you for taking us with you both xx

Lovely video Caroline. Wedmore is such a pretty village. My late Dad lived in Cheddar and my best friend still lives there, so I do visit now and again. I love the interaction between you and Ashley, so funny.

What a quaint little village and a lovely looking pub. We have a holiday home booked for next month which is just 4 miles up the road from Wedmore so will keep The Swan in mind as a place to eat. 😊 Our main reason for going is to show my husband where I spent the first 2 weeks of June every year up until I was 7 years old. My dad's mum and step dad lived in Burnham-on-Sea and staying with them was our summer holiday. They moved to Devon when I was 8 so I've not been to Burnham-on-Sea for 50 years!!

What a nice overnight trip. The food at the swan looked delicious especially those pizzas! What a beautiful English country village to walk around. Like some of the places we go to in the Cotswolds some for a day out. My husband always expects everyone to be ready to go when he is too & he would def of made the same fork handles comment too! Xx

Lovely video, Wedmore looks so pretty. I was at Street last week as its only 30 mins from me, always enjoy a wander around and always, without fail, find something to buy😁.

Looks like an enjoyable trip. At least you saw some summer. I’ll have to Google the Yoda! My friends live near Hestercombe just north of Taunton. I once followed my sat nav and went down a narrow road with grass growing down the middle. Apparently I had gone the shortest route from the M5! You have to watch the locals though, as they never expect any other drivers to use the roads! Thanks for sharing..

II enjoyed the video, Caroline. Just between us, I had to look up who Yoda was because I didn't get the reference. Once I found out he's a character from Star Wars, everything clicked-I've never watched the movies. Wedmore looks like a beautiful place with such stunning scenery; it's a shame about the weather, but sadly, that's beyond our control. xx

lol 😂. Love the monacle comment. Think you can get glasses that have lenses that ‘flip’. But haven’t seen them in reality. That was a lovely little place - even in the rain 😊

Glad you enjoyed yourselves. I rarely get away but when I do, I savour the moment and don't worry too much about the weather. Mind you, that was a bit extreme Caroline and it doesn't make for pleasant driving, does it? Was that a busman's holiday for Ashley? 😁 Enjoy the rest of the week. Temu sells glasses for make up , they do exactly as Ashley says 👏

Also, regarding the monocle for putting on your makeup. Amazon sells glasses with one lens that flips over from side to side. They come in different strengths. I have to use them as my eye sight is terrible. They are handy.

I enjoy a mixed video if it's just hauls I get bored and sleepy, when I watch a Temu or amazon hauls I often find myself falling asleep over my computer.Due to various factors my age,the job I do (teach)and the path I am on in life my favourite videos areself help spiritual love Ralph Smart I am curious and need to learn new things and have mental stimulous which many videos don't provide unfortunately

I don’t like sticking to satnav either, too many years navigating all over Devon and Cornwall for my husband. I could’ve snatched Ashley’s pizza from him, absolutely adore anchovies. You need a lorgnette! Then you can glare at people through it. Thanks for a lovely trip Caroline! Ps does Yoda wear aftershave?
