Yes, the opening dream sequence of 100 maniacs the one guy was Robert Englund. The idea is that wasn't Freddy, but out of those 100 maniacs who assaulted Amanda, he was supposed to be the one who's seed actually was the one who got Amanda pregnant with Freddy so that is Freddy's father @15:09....considering Greta was asleep at this point, if you pause and look close the waiter was Robert Englund as Freddy but not burned Freddy

Great reaction, used to love them as a kid. Did you notice though, the Asylum they kept going to was where Part Three:Dream Warriors was set. 6 is my favourite, well the one after but 6 is very dreamlike and goofy.

I actually liked this one a lot better when I was younger. I still think the actual concept is a decent one but it has the dullest kills in the franchise, imo. The one kill that could of been cool, they went way too cartoonish with. Besides that, I still have a bit of a nostalgic soft spot for this one.

I think this is one of the few I actually remember from this “substandard” period. love the make up on Super Freddy.

The MPAA started cracking down on blood and gore really hard in the mid-80s and it gets worse from here. It's a shame what happened with the next Friday the 13th film. A New Beginning wasn't even nearly as brutal as The Final Chapter but that originally got an X rating. Every time they sent the movie back for more cuts, they added more nudity and the MPAA didn't notice.

My Favorites are 3-5 and Freddy's Dead: The Final Nightmare. You'll love that one.

Greta's death is gross, but what grosses me out the most is all the half-full cans of food covered with foil in Alice's refrigerator, something about that absolutely disgusts me (I think someone once told me it's a way to get food poisoning and even though it's not true, it still has that association in my brain).

I saved this 1 till I could enjoy it. I'm still saying the Pyramid head is a beast but of the Freddy movies this is top 3. You're 💯 correct he does take the worst L's. If you want a good laugh go check out movie munchies alien reaction😂 they remind me of Chip & Dale with bad language😂

As a kid, the shower scene scared the hell out of me that I never saw the rest of the movie for years. When I did see it, I thought this was the weakest of the franchise.

This movie was so bad, it was almost good. Lost of drugs were consumed in the making of this film. Methinks they probably should've stopped after the original Nightmare on Elm Street. Freddy ain't it.

I would like to let you know ahead of time... your really gonna be disappointed with the next Freddy movie (Freddy's dead) but the next two, (Wes Cravens new nightmare) and (Freddy vs Jason) you'll love them. Can't wait😊

I was pretty disappointed with this one after watching it in theaters and unfortunately my opinion hasn't really changed with numerous re-watches, but at the same time I can't fully blame director Stephen Hopkins (Predator 2, Lost In Space) as the dude was stretched RIDICULOUSLY thin during filming since he had the incredibly difficult task of trying to get this movie out in a VERY short amount of time. There were scenes where the cast had to literally direct themselves as Stephen couldn't be on set and had to attend to other aspects of the film. This one is overall visually great, but the movie itself is VERY bland.

Good movie and another good movie reaction from J like always now!!! its time to watch the 2024 Royal Rumble go!!! LA Knight!!!! yeah!!!!!! let me talk to you!!!!! oh yea!!!! go Lions!!!! tomorrow.

This is my least favorite movie in the franchise. A lot of people dump on Freddy's Dead and say that's the bottom of the barrel. But at least that movie has an element of fun to it, even if Freddy is a full-blown caricature. This one is just pure garbage, in my opinion..

This is one of THE WORST Freddy movies, but it's one of my faves. Years ago my cousin (a slasher film nut) was in the middle of an Elm St. marathon, this just happened to be the one she was watching. We smoked a few bowls, made tacos, & just made fun of the movie. 😂

The kill scenes in this one were chopped to *hell* before release. To say nothing of the controversy around the idea of discussing abortion. This was still in the point when the MPAA was being run by overly-conservative wet blankets out to keep people from having fun at the movies.
