As an ex smoker - the last time I had cigarettes was almost 5 years ago, the timing is of importance. When I decided to stop, I did it cold turkey because my smoking was getting out of hand - 40 to 50 cigarettes per DAY! It’s crazy when I look back on it. BUT the resolve has to be your initiative. I was told of the negative side effects and health problems long ago but I wasn’t ready then - despite repeated warnings from my doctors and loved ones. It’s DIFFICULT and I’m hoping you find that extra push to quit. Good luck DIA!
Shanty Lourens aw omg no it’s okay, u don’t need to apologise. I’m sorry if what i said came across as rude, i was just wondering if i’d missed something bc u said ‘they’
Quiting smoking is damn hard. My dad doesn't smoke when i'm around but he couldn't stop smoking completely. So if you cannot stop smoking, then just reduce your smoking times. Fighting Dia , it's good for your health. You can do it!
This made me sad... The way he played with your addiction was very wrong, but at least you quit for 2 days! I hope you keep going! If you quit smoking, you’ll have a much longer and happier life. It’s hard but it’s worth it!
Oh Dia... Setbacks really discourage a person in their quest. It's a bit sad you gave in, but at the same time I can't blame you. I think you shouldn't have just stop smoking at once, but maybe gradually lessen the amount? Like one week 2 cigarettes a day, next week once a day. Quitting cold turkey (at once) doesn't always give best results. Still, full 48h without smoking? I'm proud of you. Don't let that one time dampen your spirit! Continue trying :D Fighting!
Raito was having way too much fun with these challenge 😂. I felt like I was watching a reality show because everytime I kept saying: DIAAA NOOOO. Sad to see you ended up losing, but honestly 2 days is actually more than I expected you to go hahaha. Hope you can at least little by little reduce your smoking times! I had an aunt which was so addicted to smoking but after several years she has been able to finally quit and is 2 years clean! Hope you can find encouragement to continue on trying to quit. Wishing u the best!!♡
I think it is impossible to quit smoking completely when you are too into it during 15 years. So lets reduce the number of smoking times per days. Like reducing to once per day. It can be more easy. Lets make another bet
It is very disappointing in this video that there were attempts to encourage him to smoke again. First of all, it is very tough to quit smoking. Moreover, he begins with no smoking while most quitters begin with reduced smoking. Secondly, it is okay to have lifeline to use. Since the end goal is for him to not smoke anymore, it does not matter how he reach the goal. He can starts with smoking lesser or having lifelines during his 100 days of no smoking. Well I can see that this video was supposed to be funny and humorous but if you guys are serious with helping him to quit smoking, this is not the way.
Ahhh Dia, I believe in you! I don't know what it's like to quit smoking, but I have experience in breaking bad habits, and it's seriously difficult! ~ I'm really proud that you tried, I hope you can reduce or eventually stop completely one day, as I want you to live a long and healthy life!
I tried it 3 times and everytime it lasted 3 days but those were the worst days of my adult life. They past just eating without a limit and screaming like mad about everything. When we were in quarantine March 2020 me and my uncle decided to quit and both our families weren't supportive. They kept telling that : - it's already difficult being in "jail", if you two quit smoking we will be dead for sure from depression or by homicide... and we never spoke again about quiting
Quitting cold turkey is hard, personally, I would reduce the number of cigarettes you smoke a day and then start replacing the cigarette with like an e-cig or a vape or something and then once you're off of cigarettes completely you can reduce the amount of nicotine in e-cig's or vape's until it's down to 0% and quit that way. It's a longer process but it's just like getting off of a long term medication, sometimes your body/mind cannot handle the withdrawal, and tapering down (reducing the amount over time) can be a better and less painful solution. Either way, I wish you luck and remember we are all human, we make mistakes or fail but that is what helps us learn and grow and become better humans.
I’m a former smoker myself Dia. I’ve been for the past 5/6 years. (Can’t keep track thanks to my memory) 😅 It’s not easy, especially when you’re stressed. I had my first puff when I was 10 years old. Didn’t really start until I was in high school. My life wasn’t so great and it was a so called “coping mechanism.” It got worse when I got older. One summer I smoked so much. What got me through it, my mother and I quit together. Sadly, she ended up going back on it. Since then, I was tempted but now It doesn’t bother me. It’s hard to quit, but I believe you can. Fighting!~👊🏽
Quitting smoking is too hard, but I believe that you can do it! 2 days is pretty good for your attempt to quit smoking, it's okay to fail. At least you tried
I've heard that it is really hard to quit cold turkey. Maybe invest in those patches/gum to help (but I'm not sure if that will just hook you on to those instead)? I hope next time everyone is more helpful with helping you quit! Good luck!!!
OMG, Dia your house has hidden eyes🤫! This was one sneaky Raito's😈trap... Dia you should have only lick🤤 that cigarette, not light it😉😂! Good luck next time...Hope you will try it again.
I know people are saying he shouldn’t have tempted him but life is all temptation you know if he sees someone else smoking or goes to a shop he will be tempted as his body is used to smoking he needs to learn to resist the temptation you know he could quit for 6 months or a year and someone gives him a cigarette like if his body isn’t able to resist what his mind says then he will never quit and it’s hard for smokers to quit my dad has been smoking for 33 years I have asthma my mum does the problem is my dad can’t resist it he has smoker friends which makes him feel needing of a cigarette this is hard to do but I’m glad he is tested because otherwise he will quit and then a few months will go by and something will trigger it and he will be back in a cycle so I’m glad they are helping him xx

I do not even smoke frequently, but when I feel I need it is freaking hard just don't do it. DIA can make it, I'm pretty sure, but it takes time and needs a lot of support. ): I think that establish shorter goals could be better.
Hello 👋🏽, Dia I get it , it’s hard quitting. I’ve smoke on and off in my life , one time for nine years I quit. Then I started again , I was hooked. I’ve stop now since 2012 and feel great 👍 plus saved tons of money 💰. One thing I’ve learned is too keep focus on my goal, you have to decide what you want. Oh yeah I’ve used the patch and then vape at the end sparingly. Best of luck I believe in you. Be safe and stay healthy 🙏🌈❤️
Quitting smoking is the hardest legal habit to quit IMO. I finally did after 25 years. If you are still trying my best advice is find a brand without added chemicals, because you are actually not only addicted to the nicotine in the cigarette you’re also addicted to chemicals that are added. Wean yourself from the chemicals then work on the nicotine, I smoked 2 less cigarettes a day until I was down to zero during this time I drank only water to flush the toxins out, It was hard but rewarding after.
I hope you don't feel bad about it, Dia. It's very difficult to abandon nicotine once your body became dependent on it. People in abstinence of nicotine tend to be extremely anxious and restless and is extremely difficult to control it, mainly at the beginning of the process. But once you are able to control it, the sensation of self control and dominance over yourself is very pleasant. I'm sure that some day you'll be really ready to start a big challenge like that, and I have no doubt that DG's support will help you a lot.
My brother is an ex smoker. He started smoking when he was 15 because of peer pressure and curiosity. He takes more than 20 boxes of cigarette a day and it's getting out of hand until he decided to stop because of health issues. Through his journey I saw how hard it is to quit smoking. There are days that he would sit and be depressed because of withdrawal symptoms- the first 5 days were the hardest for him, he won't stay put and can't sleep. There are also times that he would just cry all of a sudden even though it's been quite a long time he quitted ( it was his 15th day) but we continue to support him all through out. I'm proud that he quit just right on time he could've had a seriously illness if he hadn't. I just wish they could've been more understanding of Dia's situation and not tempt him. Those withdrawal symptoms is not easy to deal with especially if you're a heavy smoker. I wish for the best for Dia I hope you succeed! Fighting! never give up! I'm rooting for you!
My mom and her dad made a bet to cold turkey on quit smoking. He's been cigarette-free for 2years now. His trick is that anytime he feels like he “needs” to smoke he will put an unlit cigarette between his lips and that's it. His house doesn't smell of smoke and he doesn't either. His breathing has improved 100%. I wish you luck and keep trying. You'll get to your 100 days.
Did this just fail? I just want to give you a spirit of writing :') but it is very difficult to quit smoking. my father from high school had smoked and now he is getting older. I've said several times to quit because it's not good for my father health, but it doesn't always work T.T
Recuerdo que en mis días escolares, mis amigas fumaban y me dijeron que me vería genial fumando y lo probé pero no me gustó así que menos mal porque dejar una adicción es difícil, animo Día ❤️
You made it 2 days on your first time, that's good. Next it will be 4 days, then 1 week, and eventually you'll make it :) It doesn't matter how many times you fail, if you make it to your goal.
Watching this after a year 😅 anyway, quitting has a process. You can't suddenly remove the things you have been doing in just a snap. Do it by reducing the amount of time you smoke until you get rid of it.
It is damn hard! I believe you can & will quit smoking. . Many of us have addictions that may impact our health, relationships, or jobs. Managing or stopping the addiction can be a life long fight. "Successful people fail alot...failure is where all the lessons are." - Will Smith
It's terribly hard, but don't give up and you will succeed! They were assholes to tempt you like that. Next time, try to use nicotine chewing gums or patches, it will help you to overcome nicotine addiction.
I hope you can quit smoking soon! You will be able to eventually. There’s things like nicotine gum and skin patches that can help with cravings. We believe in you!
like my comment on the first video it's very difficult to do because it's ingrained it's okay Dia 2 days is enough for beginners later try again the spirit of treating Raito and DG..😂😂✌✌
