I knew that my Aequidens Pulcher had spawned, but since they had in the back of the tank I couldn't see much ( I'm stiil surprised at how small the parents are )
Today they finally showed themselves. They look well - fed, as do the Meeki fry. later in the video.
Fortunately I managed to get the brine shrimp hatchery up and running in time.
Less fortunate is that the Meeki parents keep uprooting the Vallesneria in the ' Vallesneria forest '. So most evenings, between when the light in the aquarium starts to fade and the parents bring the fry to bed ( yes they do ) I try to replant the uprooted ones without making too much of a disturbance.
The other fish in the tank are clearly visible cowering.
