"The success formula: solve your own problems and freely share the solutions." - Naval Ravikant The Quickest Way to Write Newsletters - www.revamped.io/
this is pure gold. I have been subscribed to your newsletter for a while, but was unaware of your youtube channel. I am starting my journey today. thank you.
I like to write, I've been thinking about starting a newsletter for quite some time now, not really sure why I haven't started yet... Perhaps today is the day to start that adventure. Thanks for the insanely valuable content Brett
Starting a news letter is definitely great but only if you already have a platform with some following. Or else you start bleeding money like crazy through cold dms.
@@TheBrettWay agreed but still, I firmly believe that building a following on RU-vid has always been, and will continue to be, one of the best ways to foster a community of like-minded individuals. While short-form platforms might drive clicks and views, it's on RU-vid where genuine followers are earned and trust is established. With that trust, even an average product can achieve remarkable sales, because you've secured the most valuable asset: people's trust.
This might be my favorite video of yours yet! I've been thinking about starting a newsletter in my professional niche for awhile but have hesitated because of all the steps required and perceived lack of return potential but you might've just convinced me
Hopefully this cleared up the path for ya! Just focus on writing one piece of great content that youre proud of then go hard on twitter, reddit or even tiktok/shorts if youre wild! Newsletters are hands down the most intimate way to talk to your people and a great way to bring them along your journey for years!
While it's a good business to consider, Due to high competition getting people to see your content has become tough subject let alone reading your newsletter. for example you will require to create double layer content. 1st layer of content to get people to your email list. 2nd layer of content to keep people opening your email. On the other hand only few of the few people actually open and read your email out of few of few actually move ahead and buy something. I would suggest only get into newsletter business when you have either of these 2 things or both 1. You have passion to write or create interesting content or 2. You have funds for ads to speed up the process. anything less will only be a struggle.
or already have an existing audience. either way, nobody reads email anymore, least of all any kind of sales driven newsletters. This was a great idea in 2003 ,but not so much in 2023.
@@HistoricMetals email marketing represents 53% of conversions made in the other side social media ads represent only 14%, that's statistics you can't just assume that nobody is reading emails nowdays because stats are showing the opposit
Yeah nothing is easy, but at the end email marketing ROI is the biggest among all other marketing funnels. So building a business around it is truly worthed. you just need to work hard and to be patient, i am sure when you will build a 100k list life is gonna become much more easy
@@we4shop stats are easy to play with, but meaningless without context. After all, Amazon and eBay, for example are included in the percentage you cite, and either one alone could easily represent 100% of your 53%, meanwhile the other 57billiongazillion emails that people get go right in the trash. So sure, a few big brands and some communities with loyal niches make up basically all of your percentage while the other eleventy billion ephemeral "newsletters" and other spam go right in the trash.
Hey, Brett, soooo, I have a question/ strange request. I got a new job (after being let go last month from my employer of 10 years), I'm the new Executive Director of Business Development for The Beauties of 5 Continents. (It's a global beauty pageant, with the finals held aboard a 7-Day Cruise to the Bahamas every August). I use to sit on the Board of Directors for them, since 2016. But NOW! I am in charge of getting tons of Sponsorships for next year's pageant. And honestly, I have not the slightest idea how to go about doing this! There's only ever been like 5 things I cannot do, and well, this is the 6th. My question is, since you mentioned sponsorships, could you maybe do a video or something on Sponsorships? I mean that's gotta be great part of yours and many of your guests' successes. And I've youtubed the crap out of this, but I always get dragged down into a rabbit hole that ends with people talking a whole lot, a bunch of words coming out of their mouth like H&R Puffin Stuff, but they actually don't "say" anything! Whereas ... every word you speak is intentional and deliberate, and your ideas ... each step is meticulously calculated, broken down, and pulled apart, like an exploded-view in suspended animation, then carefully examined. They are thoughtfully explained, thoroughly conveyed to your audience... well articulated. .... Sooo... Would you please do a video on that? 😁 Please and thank you? I'd be eternally grateful. 🙏
Congratulations brotha, keep building momentum and it will grow exponentially. You are putting in the work and with newsletters it pays off slow and steady!
That's some great GOLD there my friend! I will see how well this will work. I was thinking of using this with leads that I have paid for in the Life Insurance Business.
Your take is quite informative. I wish more RU-vidrs would put the same effort into producing a video. Anyway, thank you for explaining the newsletter business!
Great video, watched it a few times...for the f/b ad, can you supply a bit more detail regards applying target audience and geographics specific to newsletters. Thanks
Newsletters don't "just work" LOL. Sure, setting one up is easy. Making it really good and making it stand out is NOT easy. Growing it significantly is NOT easy. It's simple, but not easy. It takes a TON of work to get a significant following.
Exactly my point lol...I said setting the actual newsletter up is easy, because it is, but newsletters do not "just work" as you said in your video. Been following you for years and love your content. Just thought that part was a bit disingenuous, especially since you have your new software to pitch that is focused on helping people start a newsletter. Making it sound easy is deceiving to people who do not know better. Not saying people should not start a newsletter at all either just for others reading this. You definitely should, especially if you love writing. Growing an email list is incredibly valuable, and if you can really connect with people, then you WILL win. @@TheBrettWay
I felt the same way until I discovered this Pro marketer that designs well-researched, ready-made newsletters weekly. I joined his team and all I do is copy, edit and send. As for subscribers, social media makes that really easy.
Most of one says Newsletters don’t work now. Reason is no one is really want to explain, how it works? Most of them they really don’t want us to know much more about newsletter. Your video is good but haven’t revealed the way you create it and publish it. Make some more video on how to create it and step by step procedure if you really want us to join your community. Thank you.
Here's what I heard: _"only folks that already have a thriving businees can start a business."_ Bro, listen... BLEED that money if there's no other way! ÝSTAY UP ALL NIGHT! Miss the stupid ballgame and work weekends._ If not, you can kiss ANY form of personal autonomy, fanancial freedom and fulfillment goodbye. I'm sorry, I'm really not trying to be an ass, I just really can't take hearing any more BS about your self-limiting mental blocks! I promise, there is NO excuse worth NOT digging in, getting dirty, POUR yourself out! It's SOOOO worth it my friend! *Remember these words.* I say all this in love ands respect.
Absolutely the best Clickbait video around. Great production on selling the biggest load of dog droppings. Earned a total of 75million and 600k in a month. I'm surprised your nose didn't grow on the video 😂😅😂😂😂
why don't you just do that then. get out of my university - start your own business and don't go to my supermarket or coffee shop. and stop giving my mum free medications on my future taxes. I'm keeping my cheap beans. I can give up Mcdonalds. Just legalize drugs already and go away.
Man please stop making these stupid thumbnail faces just like everyone else is doing, it is actually putting people off,at least me, unless it works for you,but i am not even going to watch it.
Thank you for this video. Because of you, I am working on my subscription-based platform where I will be converting Figma designs to real web pages (React, angular, html, css, bootstrap). Users will be able to request unlimited designs with one subscription. I will be launching it this week. So excited :-)
brother i want full training about how to launch and grow newsletter step by steps 🙏 like building a newsletter website and connect with behiive and grow stategy and all importent info
Do you know a cheaper way to add a virtual address on emails required by law? Maintenance of PO Box or Virtual business address is quite high investment when you start at the beginning…
Thank you my friend it has been a long journey and we are ready for feedback so we can make it the best it can be. Your support really does mean a lot ot me.
Bretts twin brother is the presenter of the youtube channel Slidebean. They look very similar including mannerisms. What in the odds, it could be the same person but in a parallel universe🤣
Just when I think you’re finished providing value, you drop another golden nugget. You make me want to be a better RU-vidr 😂 - Back to the drawing board!!!
In theory a good idea but you make it look like so easy, with all sorts of AI software now the competition is fierce and this is going to be almost an impossible task, especially if you want to make money with it. Just do this only if you love writing and don't care whether you make money with it or not. All these youtubers creating content like this just boosts their youtube revenue, in actuality this business model is not really very realistic nowadays. Oh well..
Does a lead magnet also work with a subscription based newsletter? If so, how do I set one up, since I not only want to have the customer's email but also their paid subscription.
