good movie, but very stupid to reach for a map, take off seat belt, vrs..stopping and then going after your map.. specially right after your GPS turns off, just makes her look like a typical blond.. I'm happy she is alive and achieved her dream ,but if she would have been smarter accident would have never happened.. like the accident scene, I literally said out loud " wow how stupid can you be!!".. just being honest.. again glad she is alive and achieving her dreams and goals. and I wish her all the best in the world..
@Siobhan Brennan If you are gonna rant and rave about something then at least learn how to spell and punctuate.... Oh and how to capitalize the right words. And another thing is that you said you couldn't be bothered to tell them how wrong they are but you proceeded to type several huge paragraphs about why you think they are wrong. Yes some equestrians do use huge bits and pull on the horse's mouth a lot but you can't always assume that the horse is in pain just because their mouth is open. I had a gelding that I rode in a hackamore and he ran with his mouth open all the time. And also the horse's ears rotate in the direction that they're listening and since she is on the back of the horse and has to talk to cue him his ears point back. So I do think everyone is entitled to their own opinions, but if you were an equestrians you would understand that the majority of us do care for our horses the best we can and professional equestrians take care of their horses by giving them top notch treatment everyday. Also is riding horses is abuse then why don't we just say that nobody should have pets.
Nightbird, you are very very wrong. Barrel racers always try their best to be smooth and easy with their hands.... I myself am a barrel racer and there are clinics and videos specially for learning to be soft.. have you ever run barrels? Because if you have you would know that you are extremely wrong 😒 also most barrel horses love their job and are well taken care of. Horses are large animals and are very tough. So before you go on ranting, know what you are talking about 😠
@@nightbird8348 most Western riders ride bitless though. And the aids should be soft, which is definitely the case with the rider in this video, do you have a GED? Then go to a proper equine college and get back to us ok?
Iam extremely sorry for my over posssieveness hurted someone ✍️ humiliating others is not my intention.loving other pets to create humurious atomosphere ,giving up their daily stress .inot critising their talents but to enjoy something else beyond routine life I praise my horse every day for their bravery adventures 🌻
A horse makes you complete. No legs, no arms, it doesn't matter. When the horse understands what you want, it will help you. They are loving creatures that is often abused by humans. We will whip them into submission, even when we don't have to.
So... a normal girl barrel races and it’s “abuse” and “oh this is so awful!” But then someone with some type of disadvantage does it and it’s all “you go girl” “so amazing!”
There is no excuse to use a long shanked bit like that... the horse opens his mouth when she pulls on the reins, and that means pain. Because she can’t use her legs, she will use her arms more.
Avery Avery No horse NEEDS a shanked bit. It’s just western people who thinks it looks cool to ride in them. If you actually try, you can ride any horse in a rope halter and do the same shit. It’s all about training. Most barrel racers use shanked bits, and most of the horses run around with their mouths open every time the rider uses the reins. Horses don’t need bits and spurs and whips. It’s the human on top. The humans need bits, spurs and whips to help them ride and control the horse. Every time I hear someone say: Well my horse needs a bit because he is hard to ride, that means: I need a bit because I can’t ride. It’s not rocket science.
The Virtual Zookeeper no stirrups November! After 30 days of no stirrups your balance will be damn near perfect or you’ll have one heck of a sore bum from falling off/bouncing.
Hi,I am paralyzed and I always wanted to ride a horse and I am 10 and I never could ride one and I think it's really cool u can ride a horse! Maybe one day i could ride a horse like u !
I had a accident when I was four, a really tame dressage horse bolted on me, but now it’s my quest to compete in dressage. I didn’t get back on a horse for 7 years. And now I can ride again!
Fantasy Gacha 91 power is her sisters horse, but it’s got a different name - her sister did some of the filming ( along with her showing the actress who played Amber her own tricks in the movie)
I watched this movie walk ride rodeo on Netflix about this. I recommend it it’s a very good movie and it’s amazing how far she has come and what she’s been through.
I haven't used my legs to get a horse moving for like 3 months now since I ride a pony that responds better to my voice so I only use my legs to balance now or to hang on for dear life when we're doing no stirrup riding....if I was paralyzed from my waist down I would be dead since I rely on my legs to keep me from sliding off the side or legit bouncing out of the saddle
There are modification kits for most car manufacturers to adapt a car for hand controls instead of foot controls. They also make pedal extenders for people with short legs (mostly people with dwarfism.) I have also seen a special steering wheel for someone to use with no grip strength in their hand. When people are open to the possibility that it can be done, we will figure out a way.
(Marks wife ), I cried watching the film and I adore your drive , it’s very sad what happened to you and it’s never stopped you , I could literally brag about you for ever x
I rode professional race horses at the race course for over a decade, today I cannot sit on a horse for more than thirty seconds , with all faculties in place - by the grace of .... ! A young American man did that in the 1890's with his foreign Italian friend and nobody is talking about that. On top of that, the two men were homosexuals. Double standards, smh my head
