THis is so BEAUTIFUL. My mother loved me less than any of my 4 siblings but yet I love her anyways. Now she has dementia and lives with me because she knows that I will lover her no matter what happens. I still feel bad that I sometimes am so impatient with her. I pray that God will lift me up and help me through this very hard times. Amen!
Hey, that was nice. I am old enough to do that for my parents and have been. Only my mother is left but I enjoyed helping my dad, and I am enjoying helping my mother. Great words, word's..........................that just spoke alot.............

My parents passed away abt 4 yrs ago. Looking after them is challenging & difficult & cldn't help thinking if more cld have been done for them despite best efforts. Still.. a very rewarding & fulfilling experience...
This doesn't remind me of my mum or dad as they are both in their 40s but it reminds me of my grandmother as she has dementia and everything mentioned in this reminds me of her and when she does finally pass, I will miss her so much and everything mentioned in here will be how we/I will remember her ❤
Let your parents know this immediately the next time you hear of them may be when you hear your loved one is gone‼️ My Dad died a month after my 19th birthday & my Mom died only 2.5 years after the birth of my youngest son & 2.5 months after the eldest of #6 grandchildren married never knowing she’d have #9 great grandchildren. I wish I’d done many things very differently in spite of providing for her,, visiting with her frequently, sharing numerous long loving talks memories & honoring every wish & request she made of me throughout her 36 month battle with multiple myeloma. Sadly my children and grandchildren haven’t yet realized the immense Blessings & comfort the mere knowledge that we sorted all our differences, clarified all misunderstandings, enjoyed many beautiful memory filled days and devoted phone calls the most poignant of these being the moment we shared in a huge metropolitan airport 12.02.1994 as we simultaneously knew this was our personal earthly farewell and opportunity to converse with her in full possession of her faculties. I wouldn’t trade anything in the world for our shared tearful yet peaceful loving farewell.
I understand it is very difficult and demanding to care for an elderly. You need to rest also, take a break the whole day. Have someone to care for her to enjoy your break.

The parent brings the child into the world so the parent is obligated to the child, not the other way around. If the child chooses to take care of the parent that is his prerogative, but he owes the parent nothing.
