I love fishing especially for carp and I like to float fish with light line and grab a few roach or perch but this year I caught my very first pike around 7 pound industry caught it on the same worm and maggots I was catching a few perch then it went dead all of a sudden and I waited for around another 20 minutes and I got a weird take at first as my float was acting weird and ad I struck into the fish I managed to net a lovely 7bpound pike on 4 lb line with a size 20 hook to nylon with 2 lb strain so 8 did pretty well for myself as that was the biggest one of this season due to I've just been diagnosed with cancer of my right kidney so fishing taking a back seat at the moment see how it goes for next year as I'm fighting this what I've goes and hopefully catch a few nice big carp again I do miss catching large fish fingers crossed
Bob James naughty boy, once a poacher always a poacher then by the looks of it, worse thing he ever did getting caught fishing a river out of season, he lost all credibility in the fishing world after that! Chris Yates is a legend tho I could watch and listen to him all day!
@@jack14kd No, if I remember correctly, they fell out after Bob James left his wife for another woman. Chris Yates' wife at that time was a good friend of James' ex-wife. That is why they fell out in the mid 1990s.
If my fishing buddy had got up early in the morning to go and poach a once in a lifetime brace of river pike I’d lost the night before, I wouldn’t be as polite as to call him a rascal like Chris did. Utterly love the series but this always irked me
alanrtment porter aye, it does come across that way a little. Something about him always made me uneasy before I knew of the whole feud, but in retrospect, I think it’s plain to see how cagey and competitive he is despite the wonderful way the show was filmed
