I am all for good story but this isnt one, they stomped everyone in nz and lost to oz, only qualified for commonwealth coz oz didn't have funding. Lost against Malaysia and def win vs pakistan, lost to England and lost to India as well. Not even a map to show for the time put into it. Sorry not sorry.
Maybe sometimes it's okay to show vulnerabilities. Not everything has to be delivered picture perfect. Showing the human side to esports is actually more interesting to me personally after the onslaught of hype montages the past 15 years has brought us from different areas of Esports.
@@nickwait5260 i understand where u are coming from but they didn't even win a single map outside of Nz so not really sure what the point of the documentary is. Could've chosen a different team for the documentary in all honesty.
Agree. Dota 2 isn’t the only esport out there, surely there are kiwi players doing better in other esports that should be covered with NZ on Air money? Sure, the insight into the grind / mindset is fascinating but it all falls apart when the NZ team can’t even take a single game off another country. Would’ve been great if the doco explored what is missing in the NZ/OCE esports ecosystem, which results in such poor outcomes
@@kingoftech Again, how many inspiring montages have you seen of esports lineups winning every other game. It's so overdone in this format. Why not a team that hasn't done so well? You both say you didn't enjoy it but you still clicked and watched the whole thing which means the video did something for you that you watched till the end.
