Thanks for this! My sister and I are planning to go to Jeonju for a day trip around 3rd week of March. We wanna see cherry blossoms but they probably won’t been in bloom yet when we arrive in Seoul. Was it easy to ride a bus from the station to the hanok village? 🙂

There’s a direct bus from the station to the hanok village but everything will be in Korean! If you’re not comfortable with the language its probably more convenient to take a cab

Hi! I’m going to Korea soon! Was thinking how long did u spend in jeonju and how far is the hanok village from jeonju train station?

Hi! I spent around 8 hours in jeonju on a day trip but I think you can definitely stay for another day and not get bored! If I could go again, I’d probably stay at one of the beautiful hanok guesthouses ☺️ and the hanok village is around a 15min bus ride away from the station but you could also take a taxi through kakaotaxi if you don’t know a lot of Korean or are uncomfortable with the buses (they’re not super reliable sometimes). Hope this could help ^^

Hmm 🤔 that’s not easy to say. I lived in Seoul and I haven’t seen THAT many other towns and cities in Korea but I absolutely loved both Gwangju and Jeonju and I definitely want to come back to Busan to see more of the city. Apart from that, I have a long list of places I still need to visit haha

Just saw your Video and all the beautiful places you visit in Jeonju and you know what? I´ve been there in 2009 and I couldn't remember that it was jeonju :) So I think in September I´ll go there again. This time with more knowledge of were I am :D

How early did you leave Seoul and how long was the day trip? I m planning to go to a trip to South Korea this April and not sure if we’ll do it as a day trip from Seoul or spend the night there in a Hanok

I left at around 8am and went back at 7:30pm! You can definitely manage to do it in just a day trip but if you have the time I’d recommend to stay the night in a hanok. I haven’t done it yet but it seems like a great experience 😊

What time did you leave Seoul? And what time did leave Jeonju for Seoul?

I departed from Seoul at 8:40am and then took the train back at 7:30pm!

Thank you! ☺️ there’s lots of Hanok cafes that you can visit and there’s also the Kimchi museum that you can visit inside a hanok house! I’m sure there’s more too haha
