Such a great teacher for all levels. My nephew is 12 and rated 1250. I'm 32 and rated 1700. We both learn from him. Even my cousin who is a NM learns things from the videos. Keep em coming!

This is top level coaching, Mr. Rench! The Spanish is probably the first thing I ever learned, and I've played it with both sides my entire life. This was a quick update on the "latest trends" since Kramnik took down Kasparov! Thanx, buddy!

Excellent instructional analysis of this video. As a pure Italian player when I open E4, this is giving me a thought to switch up every now and then to the Ruy Lopez. I just hate playing against the Berlin because the games are so dry. This line could be fun though. Even as black I can see some lines that could be fun. Thanks Danny!

A very detailed and instructive analysis. The mention of the principles and concepts behind the moves helped to understand the thought process . Kudos to you Danny !

This was super helpful. In 20 minutes, i learned about five important things in a very illustrative, straight-forward way of teaching. I love playing this classic Ruy Lopez style, starting with a clear plan, grabbing the center, fencing off some jabs from black, meanwhile slowly maneuvering the pieces to the kingside, slowly squeezing black on the queenside, eventually closing it off and releasing the final blow when the time has come. Reminds me of some old Karpov games such as vs Wolfgang Unzicker in 1974 and 1975! I recommend checking them out as well, there is a good analysis of GM Akobian on one of these games here on YT.

I loved every bit of it! Long time Spanish player, Breyer lover, Chigorin lover for both sides... and you hit a lot of major themes in super-clear fashion. Very nicely handled by white, absolutely. Give me an invite to clamp a position with c5, o please! But the knights killing f5 was awesome stuff. Very, very nice! My personal best games - ever - have featured little themes like that, hidden gems that just become unstoppable! That's the kind of stuff that makes me love the game and I definitely feel that from Doctor Rensch in this vid! Bring it! Once more, better than regular TV. ;-)

Question from a beginner. Are the Engines better chess players than either Grandmaster? Or you? I apologize if the question is too silly but I hear a lot about engines choices and it seems not to allow for human brilliance.

MOM, I’m on the couch watching Siggy Freudinshots, take delight in someone’s sorrowful move order. Black lost his mind 😜 and got straight jacketed. I’ll clean my room, after Danny Boy and his “pipes are calling from glen to glen and down the mountain side. The summer's gone, and all the roses falling. It's you, It's you, must go, and I must bide.” Checkarooski. Bam 💥.
