KK was and is my first guitar hero. From 7th grade in 1982. Been playing Flying V’s ever since. So blessed KK is still here making great music. Long live KK’s Priest 🤘
I ❤ KK DOWNING!! My Favorite Guitarist from Judas Priest..and Your KK PRIEST Album is a Killer! back to the Screaming for Vengeance/Defenders of the Faith/PainKiller!! I been a Priest Fan since 1977…59 years young(very)..
I grew up listening to your stuff since the early 80's. God bless you for bringing such music to my ears. You guys not being in the Rock N Roll hall of fame yet is just plain wrong.
Priceless memories watching you up front center stage...play with your 'ole band, opening for Led Zeppelin (during my early teen years). Day On The Green in Oakland, Ca. July 23rd, 1977. Cheers, K.K. Great to see you're still rockin' over the moon, your new album officially released.
I remember JP at the Birmingham Town Hall on the 'Sad Wings' tour, it cost a quid to get in! It still ranks as one of the best gigs I've ever been to. This probably has nothing to do with your news KK but a big thanks for some great memories over the years
Hi Ken! We are glad to see you too! Sermons Of The Sinner is a very cool album! he's always on the playlist, always on repeat!) We are really, really looking forward to the new KK's Priest Album! Big greetings to the guys from KK's Priest! Sincerely from Russia! 🤘🏻
K.K. You were my specific inspiration to start playing guitar after a 1984 show in Long Beach, California. Got my first guitar a white Fender strat after that. Thanks to you!!
somehow, I missed learning all about KK and Glenn in high school, knew of the big hits but never delved into them, at least I have some new old music to discover,....I started learning how incredible the whole priest band was just at the time KK and Glenn stopped touring with them,.....wonderful musicians, and cool guys. thanks for posting KK,.....
You are such a great guitarist and a long time influence on my guitar playing. I was so desperate to learn to play like you back in the 80s era and even still today! Thank you for all you do!!!
Judas Priest without K.K. Downing is like living in an alternate reality where something went absurdly and irrefutably wrong. Keep on rocking, you demigod guitarist you..and know that you've brought joy to millions of admirers who will never stop appreciating your craft and relentless diligence during these dark and troubled times. God bless!
Good luck Sir! I've been a fan for over 40 years! Priest's music is part of my DNA brother! Thank you for still creating great work. You have been a huge influence in my style of playing. Which is... when the preacher shows up at the house ready to pray for you, then you know your rock'n! Can't wait for the next album!
To have seen Judas Priest during the Defenders of Faith tour was to witness Metal at its most Glorious and active times not to mention the greatest recorded music for all of history to discover.
Hi KK, glad to see you are still rocking after all these years. I met with you personally at the Admirals Club in Santiago Chile, during the Angel Of Retribution album days, you made me listen to the title track, even when the Album was not fully released yet. What a treat. You are not only a metal God, you are a great person!. Thanks.
I love Priest - both versions of it. To be honest, I was a little sceptical of KKs Priest at first, but Sermons of the Sinner really kicked me in the ass! Great album! Congrats on the nomination! Looking forward to KKs live shows and a new album👍🏻😎 Godspeed!
I was happily surprised by the new album, "Sermons of the Sinner". I've been blasting it mixed with some Priest-albums in my car for weeks. The title track is a real kick ass song. Fits wery well for driving something fast... 😅
KK, we miss you so very much. Judas Priest is not the same without you. I was a teenager in high-school, when I saw the "Screaming for Vengeance" tour. I have seen many concerts before and since that one, but it will forever go down in history as my all-time favorite concert. Much love and respect...Congratulations on Priest's induction.
Saw Priest opening for UFO in 1979 in a small college gym in Washington state. Greatest concert ever. I threw a ring onstage and you put it on n played the rest of the show wearing it. Hardest rocking concert I've seen to this day. Thank you!
Great album. Hope to see you live soon, and hopefully Les also drops by on drums. He was majestic on the latest show you did with him; his approach to Hell Bent for Leather for example just can't be topped.
Every time my mum says shes old I show her a KKP video and point out that you're a year older. Gets her going every time. Cant wait to see you boys in St.Louis soon. Most anticipated new act in ages. 🤘
Sir Downing thank you for inspiring me to pick up my first flying v when I was a young upcoming bloke. I am so very delighted having you back on the metal scene. You sir are a true metal god. Thank you . You still inspire me to this day.
We are all going to get to see K.K. Play his Flying V once again on stage for the first time in decades which is a vindication that the new wave of British Metal is slowly marching its way into the Rock and Roll hall of fame!!!!
Metal God!
Had the chance to see Priest in Halifax a few years back and wouldn't go and friends couldn't understand why knowing how much l thought of Priest. I can watch my DVDs with Ritchie, but KKs the man l wanna see live and if he brings KK's Priest anywhere near Halifax, I'll be there you can bet. He's what l call a guitar player's guitar player. Simply a devoted fan. KK Downing is legend and has every right to sail under the banner PRIEST🤘

Thanks for Sermons of the Sinner, it blew my head off!! My expectations were pretty high, my surprise was just how much the end Product exceeded them. You really nailed this one and I hope you are proud of it, you really should be. Keep on rockin'.
Detroit has such great theaters down there. Like the Fox Theater and The Fillmore. Seen The Pixies, Fugazi, and BB King among others. Wish I would have caught a metal act in one of those venues.
How are we so lucky to sit here and hear victims played by kk. I saw the Priest play live in Dayton Ohio on the Defenders tour with Kick Axe opening up. Probably my favorite concert.
It looks like he's living in my seventy-five-year-old grandma's living room. You'd think with his decades of musical success he'd decorate beyond the "ladies consignment shop" aesthetic.
You rock KK. First time I saw you was the Point of Entry tour. I was 13. Saw you the next 5 album tours, the last being the Los Angeles show Fall 1990. 9th row. Lost my voice and hearing. SotS lifted me off my feet and blasted me through the ceiling. Cheers mate
I remember as a kid, you were my favorite guitar player.I knew you played a Gibson Flying V. I always thought the V was the best rock guitar.I came home one night and my dad was watching a Black guy playing a V. So I laughed and ask my dad who that clown was? He said sit down, shut up and learn something.lol To this day, I will never forget is was Albert King. Many years later, go to know him and parked beside his bus at several Blues Festivals. There will never be another Albert King.Steven Segal, the actor owns "Lucy" and the rest of Albert's V collection.THE BLUES HAD A BABY AND THEY NAMED IT ROCK N ROLL!
