As usual, tremendous teaching by Dr. Dayspring rocking his Paterson NJ T-shirt! Seemed quite appropiate that one of the adds during the podcast was for the Fire Blanket!
Thank you so much Doc. for sharing. Am listening to your 5th interview trying to process and absorb all your valuable information. You are a treasure. ❤
My doctor said that my LDL is the highest he has ever seen. I eat 12 to 18 eggs and some meat and lots of vitamins. The carnivore diet. I have terrible iBS and ulcerative colitis. He wants me on STATiNs immediately.
There is one aspect of the APo b question that never gets answered!!! Seventy is a good number ,but, two hundred and seventy is a bad number.. What is the difference between those 70 APo b s and the 270 APo b s? They are all the same , with variations of cholesterol content, right? So, is it just the higher amount of them? That makes me think of an aspect of blood pressure pertaining to the amount of water that salt retains, building pressure in arteries, because glucose also holds the same amount of water, salt being essential electrolyte and excess glucose being unnecessary! This a common point raised by low carb! Having BOTH high is bad , but, eliminate the excess glucose and hypertension drops! Could it be the same with APo b and excess glucose in blood stream? High AOo b by itself not enough extra volume to become a problem, but, if glucose is also high, then there is excess pressure? Presumably, doctor would automatically assume that salt caused pressure rise and not consider that pushing APo b LDL into the walls. For that matter, no one seems to want to own up as to whether the LDL ALWAYS goes thru the wall ,anyway, but, gets trapped because of Logo polysaccharides damaging the LDL, as Dr Jamnadas hypothesis has been put forth!
GeneFood repot indicated the Paleo for myself. My Canadian doctors, all seem to be disheartened with their career choices, or maybe they can't stand me personally. :)
