Geez, you're killing with your filing both ways. Please examine the cutting edges under a magnifying glass. They are NOT designed to be used in both directions.
Had had engineer tell me to use edge of a spanner to massage they alloy back into shape before any filing was done. Otherwise just reducing the life of the blade edge.
