I bought this phone with silver white colour and it comes with 12gb ram and 512gb storage with extra free honor 2 lite earbuds , free honor case ( not silicone transparent tpu case that also included inside the box) and + 6 special warranty. here's my conclusion Pros: 1. The Pwm dimming seriously reduce my eye strain and dizziness ( i came from samsung s21+ user). The highest pwm dimming in any smartphone currently. 2. The screen to body ratio is amazing and u will feel an immersive feeling screen, i understand some people prefer flat screen rather than curved edges, but this one doesn't feel like those curved display. 3. Battery Is Excellent 5000Mah lasted me 2 days of medium usage unless you are playing mobile games 24h. 4. Camera is Excellent and i enjoyed using it more than my s21+. 5. Oh and the Display Amoled was just stunning with 6.7 inches, 108.9 cm2 (~90.8% screen-to-body ratio) Resolution: 1200 x 2664 pixels (~435 ppi density) that's great. 6. And the speaker quality, i understand its a single speaker rather than stereo, but i found out the audio quality is very loud and good, doesn't feel cheap at all. 7. Lastly the design quality and feel this is the best so far speaking from my hands size point of view.. no sharp edges under my thumbs when texting. Cons: 1. No ip rating a splash of water is fine but not on a super heavy rain condition 2. Chipset could be better but for daily use and gaming it is fine but don't expect 60hz + on ultra setting on genshin impact but mobile legends is fine with ultra setting Conclusion of all these: 1. Buy it if you like minimalist light body 2. Buy it if you like to take care of your eyes and viewing health and i do recommend this phone 3. Buy it if you like High end features and premium phone but with moderate budget 4. Buy it if you like to view content on any platform such as youtube/twitch etc 5. Buy it if you like photography Not the best like iphone 14 pro max but it is excellent for my eyes 6. Avoid this phone if stereo speaker is what you wanted for 7. Avoid this phone if you want wireless charging 8. Avoid this phone if you want certified IP rated phone Thanks i hope this help on making your choice
I've used a lot of midrangers recently from motorola / nokia / samsung / google and the honor 90 is by far the best of the lot. The build is absolute quality and has a fantastic slimline feel to it ( similar to the samsung a71 ) that I really like ( why did phones get fat again ? ) and forget any doubts about magicOS it's a really intuitive and functional GUI overall this one's a keeper for sure.
Nice looking phone but too expensive phones at this price should have a minimal of 3 years of software updates and 4 years of security updates one plus nord 3 would be a better phone to buy
I'm replacing my p30 pro.. Loved it, had it since it came out.. Smashed screen, speakers a bit goosed, mics goosed. Camera is fuzzy unless in ultra wide.. So ordered this 2day 👌🏻✌🏼
@@MrNovemberfourteenth sounds good. My p20 is still going strong with battery lasting a day, screen intact and everything functional but desire is terrible thing. I'll put in an order this weekend. 😎
Single speaker why??? I've been thinking about buying Honor instead of Xiaomi, but those little things.. Honor could be a very good phone. Oneplus Nord 3 would be a very good option.
im sorry but I think you have been a bit un fair about the camera. I own an s23 ultra and the honour 90 and I can honestly say the honor more than keeps up with photo quality and even sometimes surpasses the s23 ultra.
I know from Poco is better in a camera standard comparison. I would like to know too between realme 11 pro plus and Nord 3, in terms of camera which one is better.
For me beyond every problem the stereo speakers lacking, 7 gen 1 being hardly powerful at best and the plastic back are the biggest downsides of this phone, so much that I'll probably go buy Nova 11 Pro for the same price which has a 778G
@@mdminhajalamdip4372 pixel 6 would of been a good choice camera wise at the time. I do prefer the extra power, faster charging, better display. Even the cameras are close. MKBHD picture test put Oppo find x5 pro 1st for main camera I think in daytime and rest of categories pretty well except selfie. The non pro which I got has the same camera as the pro minus the pro has better stability mostly for video. Plus the design is nice on the Oppo over the Pixel. If the only thing that matters to you 7a is a good choice maybe slightly beats Oppo find x5 but it is close I would say.
Hi A good few months ago, you did a review on the Honor Magic5 Pro. At the time this handset was their flagship mobile. Now that Honor has introduced the Honor 90, which handset is better, and which has the better camera features? I'm sort of 50:50 on which one to get, but could appreciate your thoughts on your gut instinct on which out of these two is the better handset?
Honor magic 5 pro is in a different league mate... This honor 90 is a budget/ midrange device.... If it's best camera you want there is no real comparison... Get the honor magic 50 pro.
The Honor Magic 5 Pro is way better than the Honor 90! It's like comparing the Samsung Galaxy A54 to the Galaxy S23 Ultra or the iPhone SE to the iPhone 14 Pro.
Hello Mr. Spurt Watching all the way from Canada Is it okay to review the "Realme GT Neo 5 SE" A really good phone with a 6.74 inch display, a processor that rivals even the best processors for a mid-ranger
I saw the offer for the Honor 90 on the socials with a tablet thrown in for an extra £10, and was tempted but after your review I think I may go back to my original choices of Pixel 7a or Samsung A54. Wanted the Oneplus 10 pro but cant find it to buy. I need a good camera, good battery and at least 256GB of storage. Plastic case also puts me off. It does have a lot of good features though especially the battery life but the camera is important and it doesn't seem to offer the quality I need.
@@jimibaked4235 Hey there, no not yet. Got busy. But still looking. I should get a refurbished one for sake of planet, slave labour etc but I don't trust it. And some of the pricing is really high and I don't want an old model.
People always hate on Macro. I love my Macro! There are so many nature shots where you can't just zoom in from further away, you actually need to be close up
I'm having all sorts of problems with mine. It won't connect to my WiFi. Apps stutter or refuse to run and RU-vid videos just refuse to load. Because it was a Christmas gift I missed the 14 day return period so the only alternative is to send it back for a repair but what needs repairing? I do not know if the modem is faulty or just my WiFi at home.
My brian is fried from watching all these now haha. What would you reccomend in the way of a mid range 'good' camera phone please ? They all have so many ups and downs... Spend about £400 ... Cheers 😊 😊😊
The lack of stereo speakers was a deal breaker for me. Went for Nord 3 5G instead. Don't regret it! Can get it for £420 at the moment with a free Sandstone original case.
I've just bought an Honor magic 5 pro replacing my ever reliable oneplus7pro. I'm very happy with the Honor brand in terms of its very good quality and vfm.
well honestly, the mono speaker is not a deal breaker for me, i always use headphones, i'm more afraid of the os, currently i use the mi note 10 lite, MIUI IS GREAT
If you don't mind that Motorola doesn't have AOD but their version of it, then definitely Motorola. Personally, I would probably wait for Oneplus' Nord 3
@@kt_mac5568 On paper. And it is ip68 protected. But of course both have their pros and cons. In my opinion, Motorola has just that the AOD thing. Both are good phones, but in Honor, those things that there are no stereo speakers, no IP rating, quite buggy according to this video. Whichever you like more, buy it!
@@xxiamlostxx_dreams_7916 for an extra 100 pounds in the UK? I dunno man if they were the same price yeah, I suppose hopefully the Nord 3 gets discounts and stuff but the money it's overpriced
I can't get over the fact that it doesn't have stereo speakers, infrared and that Honor should have put a Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 processor, because the SD7 Gen 1 has the same specs as the SD778G, it gets on my nerves.
UncleSpurt... Shame about the cameras but you can't fool me. I noticed the quick insert of the vocation naughty and nice "coconut milk". Hee hee hee fun I've had with that with "i don't drink" people's.... 😮. Jed
Every to each budget smartphone has one single speaker, and even a flagship has one speaker. If you want to buy a smartphone with dual speakers, then you must need research on the internet.
@@mrliberox what are you smoking? 😆 Mid range smartphones have been including dual speakers for a while, take Galaxy A52 for example. It's 2023, dual speakers are a MUST HAVE now.
@@DarthThrash Yes, but almost one doesn't include dual speakers, and of other companies tho. But yea, Samsung does, but does need it specific that in these days? For instance, I'm a daily earbud user and I use a for gaming tho.
@@mrliberox Dude, you should learn some basic English, I can barely understand what you're saying. It seems you've been living in a cave or something, you're clearly lost about the latest smartphones.
I had pixel 6 and pixel 7 and decided to get rid of them. I don't think I'll be buying another pixel, hence why I'm looking at honor and zenfone 10 and at the moment I'm using Samsung S22 as mess about phone and my main phone was IPhone 14 Pro Max now looking for Alternative.
Hey I have a question. Which of these phones would be the best for long term use and intensive long gaming, video rendering Samsung A14 5G OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G
Both of these phones are almost equally good, but Nord CE 2 is slightly better as it is using dimensity 900, not a big difference. CE 2 weighs less compared to A14 because of it's smaller battery. If performance is your priority go for CE 2. Built quality is equal in both, sub par. Works well for atleast 3 years in my opinion, performance and battery degrades over time on any smartphone.
Hell no!!! Am not reaching down your pants... I will have my mom do it but about the Honor it is a sweet device but my last for the 7a is still overwhelmingly deep.
