I have some archeological finds near my desk. Old Bible leaves are a great addition. I also have a 2500 year old celtic ring coin. Adds a lot of perspective.
Thank you for your commitment to the craft of preaching. Though I am not from a reformed background, I so deeply savor the commitment to the Word of God and to the glory of the miracle of fallen men speaking of a glorious God. I have a hand full of young men thinking of ministry and I have often sent thinks to this channel. Even fundamental thoughts like these give strength to young men to set there course.
😊 I want a photocopy of that book he’s holding!! I think it contains the wisdom of years of practical ministry and teaching. Dr. Lawson .... if you can hear me, publish it. Thanks for these wonderful videos. What you are teaching can be used in so many circumstances. It can even be used as an aid for people who receive a daily Bible verse. Gratefully yours, MikeinMinnesota
Years ago I was prescribed a medicine that made my circulation not be as good and it would make my feet get really cold when I would sit still. That would obviously bother me when I would try and study for long periods and so I started running warm water in the bathtub and sitting on the side of it and reading there. Well, me being the extreme creature of habit that I am developed a habit of doing that and I've not taken that medicine in years but I've never stopped sitting there on the side of the bathtub reading for hours. Whatever it takes. LOL!
I have begun using the Logos Bible software in aid me in my studies along with the Strong's concordance found in the BibleHub app and the MacArthur Study Bible.
