In this video, we take a closer look at the Troxus Explorer 26" step-over electric bike and give our honest review. This bike is equipped with a powerful 750W motor and a 48V 14Ah lithium-ion battery, which provides a maximum speed of 28 mph and a range of up to 50 miles on a single charge. Great video and thanks for posting. I just purchased this bike about 2 weeks ago. I must admit, the battery is awesome! You can go all day on this thing and still have battery power when you get home. Two things I'm not crazy about.... the charger gets really hot when charging the battery. In fact, I set a timer and charge it for one hour. I disconnect and let it cool down. Then I resume charging again. Also, brakes are so so. I live in a hilly area and I try to not go down hills too fast because it doesn't have the greatest stopping power. But, it'll do. Other than that, it's a bike that I'm pleased with!

I got this a couple weeks ago during their anniversary sale. For 1241 delivered, it was a scream of a deal and compared to the Aventon Aventure, the motor response is quicker and the build quality is much better. Large 48W, 20A battery and I'm getting 46 miles in PAS 2/3. Absolutely love it.

I have the smaller framed Troxus ebike (the Lynx). It is a great ebike for those that prefer a 20" tire bike. I am very happy with it and try and take it out every weekend (weather permitting).

My issue with e-bikes still is that they are relatively expensive compared to a regular bike, and they they stick out a lot on the bike racks around town, making them a prime target for thieves. Unless you work somewhere where you can take your bike into your work, I wouldn't trust leaving these on the street
