Easter 2024 is wrapped and in the books! An Easter to remember. My first Easter week in the USA. Without Jesus’ death and resurrection, his love, his grace, his forgiveness and his victory, i wouldn’t where i am. So blessed to have spent this week serving alongside some of the most amazing people, spent time with my amazing girlfriend who came to see my the day after arriving home from her month long vacation from the Philippines and reflecting with a heart of gratitude of what Jesus has done for me. Hope you all had a happy Easter! Jesus is alive

⁠@JemmyJems Sounds so good as always! Love to see how you choose to use dynamics and voicings in different parts in a worship set. Just an idea, but I would love to see how you use your helix/set up for a Sunday, such as if you use stompbox mode or snapshots. Just your idea on how you flow through a service! There is a frequency that overshadows the mix, I don't know if it is the key board or the reverb of one of the guitars but it literally goes over everything in the mix, concealing the dynamics of the other instruments including the voices.

u mean the electric (what he's playing)? I mean it's his in-ear mix right? He's suppose to hear himself the loudest

I'm almost sure it's a lot of mix in the reverb or delay. When playing live and there is piano using pads, the guitar should be a little drier in the mix of the delays and reverbs. Because when all the frequencies come together the mix tends to sound like that and the dynamics are lost. For next time, talk to the person who plays the pianos and ask him what type of speakers he uses, listen to him at the sound check and there you can adjust the mix in the reverb and the feedback in the delay to avoid the frequencies of the piano and guitar join with the bass frequency and the dynamics are lost in the mix

It's an IEM mix, not broadcast, timing tempo, space, and ambience is what they need. Plus it's eq'd to sound good for his IEM, it sounds bad on my phone BTW.
