Was just playing this the other day and felt like no one would be able to do this song justice as a cover on guitar. You proved me wrong. I also am stunned by the effect of playing that second half so softly compared to the (wonderfully) chaotic way that Chad plays. It's a whole different kind of powerful--like, God's gentle love is also strong. Makes me think of the still small voice in 1 Kings 19, which is a perfectly fitting story for this song too.

I was introduced to this song awhile back through a playlist you shared. Hearing this song at the time felt like Jesus climbed down into my hole of darkness, depression, and anxiety, and just sat with me until we were ready to start climbing out. Thanks for that.
