@@ethanwasme4307 check Mike Winger and The bible project...but i agree with @mark phillips David Pawson is an all round bible teacher... he teaches the whole bible with no prejudice whatsoever.
I didn't understand what he said about topical sermons. He too has sermons on various topics such as Explaining grace, Resurrection, New birth, Once saved always saved? etc. Are they not topical sermons? Plz help me understand it.
You are correct these are topics but not topical Most of the talks David recorded are Bible Studies - the other talks you could prefix with “explaining what the Bible says about” ……. “Grace”. Etc and hence are Bible based teachings ….at the Queens Funeral last week the sermon was mostly about faith and a call to believe so we could be with her again one day …. It was more topical about the Queen and her faith and her passing than Bible teaching focused on what the Bible teaches us about death, what comes after death or about what does the Bible say about faith in GOD ….. and I’m not criticising the messenger - there is a time for respect, for remembering and mourning with those who have lost a loved one This was topical a service of remembrance …..a service of mourning the Queen …….but the sermon was not a sermon about what the Bible says about death and the consequences of death to a non believer …: I’ve been to many funerals in my time and the majority have had a sermon about remembering the person who had died The most memorable funeral I have attended was a service where the person leading the service started by honouring the person who died , someone everyone would agree was an example of a God fearing, Christ like man, loved and respected by all without exception, a father who had been taken at a young age leaving a family in loss ..::: but then turned it around to an assurance of the promise this person had of his future …….what the Bible says about sin and the consequences of sin but did not leave everyone in condemnation, explained what the Bible says about the cross and was very clear that we all have a choice to make ……. It was one chance the Minister had to proclaim the gospel to many who would not have heard it before This was both topical - someone had died ….. but was Bible teaching about sin and death ie the Gospel and especially on the promise for those who believe in Jesus and accept him as their Lord ….. topical yet Bible teaching
@@DavidPawsonMinistry ok. Thank u for clarifying it. May I know if Mr. Pawson preached anything related to the prosperity gospel and the doctrine of giving money to get more money from God? If he has, can you help me find them?
@@deepjoydeb4330 hi not specifically the prosperity gospel but he did 2 talks on - what the Bible says about Money and separately - what the Bible says about work Both are uploaded to this RU-vid Channel In addition if you go to his website davidpawson .org and look at the recommendations tab there are a number of books he recommends from his own personal library on this very topic
