About us:
We're Jack & Megan, and in late 2020 we sold our belongings and packed our lives into our 2005 Toyota Troop Carrier to travel Australia. Our original plan was to complete a full lap of Australia and return home to Perth to resume our 'normal' lives. We decided we wanted to document our lap for the future and began sharing weekly travel vlogs of our life on the road and fell in love vlogging, filmmaking and sharing our lives with you. We completed our first lap and couldn't imagine living any other way so we decided to continue travelling and calling the Troopy home. We have gone on some crazy adventures since then (including completely rebuilding our new home on wheels from the ground up) and it is all thanks to you tuning in to join us every week.

Hi guys. I'm not wanting to be rude I'm just being honest. I've watched every episode from the start. except your overseas ones sorry. I love your original channel. I've enjoyed watching you both grow & see your skills grow when your doing a build. At first I was yelling at my phone in frustration but now I'm pretty proud of you both. But I really enjoyed & LOVED this new one better . Because it reminds me of you 2 at the start still very interesting & entertaining but more real & not so polished. I hope I didn't offend you. Thanks for all your hard work. & please take a little bit of advice. There is much more to life than working all the time. Try to find more time for yourself and each other please.

Great to see you’ve got this second channel. Just don’t put too much pressure on yourselves. Agree with others: great vid. We've followed you all along and love your professionalism in the other channel, but nice to have a real raw, nitty gritty vid. It will be a lot of work for you working out what goes on what etc so do take care of yourselves. (BTW Jack, I actually suspect you might have had a dose of Covid. Not chippies and lollies... So you can keep them on the menu. 😀)

Love your van! If you ever don’t have steel wool soap pads handy, scrunch up a bit of foil and wet it. It also gets minor rust spots off chrome.

Cook up the veg and put some dressing/sauce on it and freeze it rather than waste it. You’ll have a ready made meal addition which is great on a travel day when you’re tired 😊 Love it, you guys are so much fun together and I love this part of your vids so I’m glad you’re keeping them here 😊

I never offer to empty the caravan toilet .. your gagging Megan reminded me that at some of the roadside rest stop toilets I do the same .. the smell and look is disgusting .. I will keep that up my sleeze for my arsenal of excuses😂

Great first vlog guys! Glad to see you like the steel wool tip. Next time put some water in a small container with the steel wool pad and some wet paper towel for wipe down. Try adding a tube of viscus oil to the viscus fan hub, you might find that will get additional airflow through and will help with egts. I also run a Stedi light bar with clamps attached to the top bar of the bullbar (in front of bar, not above bullbar) so that I still can have additional light when night driving but doesn’t compromise air flow through radiator.

My channel is not polished at all and is really for me and friends so it has very few views ... i will sometimes link episodes to friends who are thinking of going to that same area. When i first started watching your main channel i would be annoyed there was too much talking and would drive for hours to get a signal so i could watch it but slowly i have come to like your banter more and you seem more like friends even though we have never met. Your personalities are what brings me the most enjoyment these days. Things change.

Raw life on the road! Yes this is the channel I’ve been waiting for. I’m looking forward to episodes such as ‘trying to find coins for the laundromat’, ‘why don’t WA Bunnings sell that?’ ‘Fuck it, where’s the nearest Maccas’ and a full hour long episode of ‘what’s that rattle’ followed by ‘what’s that smell?’ We’ve crossed the nullabor 3 times and it’s a totally different experience in a caravan isn’t it. We are only new to your content- loved the van build. PS Hubby says the full-size caravan wash bays in Ceduna are worth a visit if you haven’t already.

I got a mini 3 pro and have touched the props when spinning to grab it and touch props it does hurt doesn’t do anything. I have an fpv drone as well and I did the same thing I went grab it with props spinning it hurts more and it sliced the top of my finger. Lesson learnt never touch fpv drone when armed.

Just be yourselves that makes the best vids. We also carry on the rear a 20 liter jerry of water with a tap on it to rinse the dunny at remote dump points. A hand soap with it to clean up when finished.
