Goes to show how strong powerful and loud trains can be. The shaking camera says it all about the weight pounding over the interlocking, and I love it.
Michigan was once a major hub for many railroads east of the Mississippi. NYC, PRR, Wabash, Grand Trunk, and many more. Oh what I'd give to go back in time and see steam locomotives in the area.
@@NERRP2017 Getting closer. A little to the north of Monroe. It sits where the DT&I and Pere Marquette crossed. The Pennsylvania railroad also had a secondary line running into Detroit that joined up with the Pere Marquette here.
